This email is going out to all publishers and all authors who are registered on our sites as either self-publishing or Exclusive to us at Fiction4All and A1AdultEbooks and our network of sites.

Following on from my email yesterday we have been busy! Firstly we got ordered to remove every book from Kindle that had either hardcore content or graphic sexual descriptions in the story. Now personally I find it hard to even contemplate erotica without such content, let alone BDSM. To ensure we would receive the payout due from Amazon we have complied with their demands and all adult content has now been removed from Amazon.

Because this marks a fundamental change to our business, we are in the process of making a number of changes to our publishing program.

To that end I would like to introduce you to our Alpha Club. If you are one of our exclusive authors then all the books you send us from now on will be automatically enrolled in the club. If you are self-publishing then the choice to enrol a book is yours. The basic mechanism for the club is that in return for us having your books exclusively for the first month from the day you submit them, you will earn a higher royalty rate for that month and our priority will be to get self-published books enrolled in the club on sale as quickly as we can. If you are Exclusive then your calendar month at the higher rate will start on the day we publish your book.

Is anyone else other than RR having this sort of trouble with Kindle on their books? I'm not. Also, I don't think giving exclusive sales point rights to one point of sale, especially one that doesn't have a large base of buyers, is going to sell many books.

Its hardly a good deal.

Let me get this straight, the next e-book I put up I only go with one site for thirty days?

F4A only pays 50% if you are non exclusive. They pay around 75% if you are. So for an extra 25% per sale for thirty days(and a good month there is maybe a few sales per title) I am going to forfeit having my book on amazon and all the other affiliates f4a will not put you on?

I don't blame the publisher for trying, but um...no

And to top it off if you are exclusive with them than you just got tossed off of amazon because they refuse to follow the rules so I wouldn't be too thrilled to do anything for them.

I have no intention of taking the Foction4All offer. I have published books with them, in the past, but I now have several publishers. I posted the e-mail, merely to indicate that yet another indie publisher may be in trouble.
