Hello all.

I am posting this thread for all of you to see, asking you all to look at this link that I will provide. Have a look, and please consider using this program.
This is a good program. What it does is go throw calculation and so forth, to find a cure for a disease. As I myself suffer from a life-threatening disease, I will gladly use this program to help find cures for diseases.

I was looking at that site, and well, it seemed pretty darn hard.

Does one need any scientific understanding or background?

Do you have to have a team?

Sorry if these answers are already on the site, but this is also a *bump* to the top of the page. This seems like a pretty interesting thing going on.

Just requesting some more info. here! :)

Nope, all you need to do is to run the program. You can run at when ever you want. Like if your just on the Internet surfer the web sites, you just run it in the back ground. You don't need to do a thing.
When it is finished a session, it sends the data it calculated back to the site it came from. It wont cure a disease over night, but it will help others find a cure.
I have had it working while I ws asleep lastnight, and left it running.

Oh, ok. I don't get it (at all) but I'll run it.... I'll look into it later tonight. :)

It basicly decodes human protien strands, and everything is made up of protien strands so technically, you are doing DNA work

All you need to do is run thje program in the background whileyou surf the Internet. You don't have to work out anything, or know anything about DNA.

Very neat, so they're just basically using my hard drive space to do some Dna decoding...

*wondering if I can put DNA decoder on my resume?* :D

Yeap, that is what it is doing. The more people help by using this program the more it helps to finding a cure for a disease.

This don't sound like much of a help, but if you can't afford to donate money to finding cures or such, you can do something to help by running this program.

As for putting DNA dwecoding on your resume, LOL! :p

I don't understand this..

how does the information this program can "send back to whoever" from my computer help find a cure for a disease?

Simple, you run the program while connected to the Internet, and when it finishes the session of decoding, it sends the info back to the website.

What I found out you can do, is run the program even when your not online, and once the decoding session is done, just connect to the Internet.

(Edited to fix typos.)

Once you download the program. In the readme file it tells you more about the program. It also tells you that if you use a modem to deal up to the Internet, that you make the program tell you when it needs to connect to the Internet and send the data.

You don't need to be connected to the Internet when you use the program.
