Not DC.

The climate is yuccky. Our beards wilt. Ragnar gets heat rash under his armor. Last time we rowed up the Potomac, Wulfgar got a blister. Plus the INS is a pain in the ass.

INS guy: "Is your trip to the United States business or pleasure."

Me: "Well, we try to profit when we pillage some place, but we really, really enjoy it too."

INS guy: "Pick one"

Me: "Well, if I say 'pleasure' the wife will be pissed 'cause I didn't bring her, and if I say 'business', the crew will be bummed out and probably not sail with me next time. Can't I just say other?"

INS guy: "Oh, a wise ass, huh? Got a permit for that battle axe we found in your luggage? Go with these two men. They are gonna cavity search your bearded, suspiciously terrorist-looking, uncooperative ass. Have a nice stay in the United States."
