Anyone ever play this game?

It's a game with one rule: You draw one card, and then you play one card. After the first card hits the table, things begin to get interesting.

Every other card either changes the rules or changes the objective for winning. It's an easy game to learn, but it is hard to develop a working strategy for winning.

And here I thought it was the yellow goopy stuff you put on metal before you began soldering.

This would be funny, if it made sense.

Flux is the nickname of one of the best dobro (resonator guitars - slide guitar)players around.

Who's side are you on anyway? Second thought, don't answer that; I'd be too tempted to lubricate their anal cavity with vicks vaporub. :D

Discomfort? What discomfort?

Fluxx

Simple? Fluxx has but one rule:
"Draw ine card and then play one card."

What cards could you play? Well, you could
play Time, or war, or perhaps love. I shall play
Chocolate - It is a fine thing to have chocolate.

What's this? You have played the card
"Play 2." Well play a second card!

Don't you know the rule of Fluxx? It is this:
"Draw one card and then play two cards."

Well, that's what it is NOW. Perfectly Simple.

The goal of the game? Oh, I'm terribly sorry.
No one has played one yet.

It's a great card game. Mensa Select Award Winner, which I guess means a bunch of smart people think it's fun.

It is fun though. It's more fun playing to play than it is to play to win. I've gotten in lots of games with my friends.. love the game, but haven't one once...

I had forgotten about it.. it was sitting on my shelf.. Must play again soon though.. maybe take it to work..

I would like to hear about the CARD game of Flux. Simple yet strategic...sounds like an interesting combo.

Another simple but complex card game is 31. Ever played that?
