My whole family has the flu. The baby and I are recovering, and only vomited once (so I thought we had Fifth Disease, since we both had more of those symptoms than flu symptoms) but my husband started vomiting heavily early this morning.
We've asked the doctor to call in a script for an anti-emetic, but that could take awhile. In the meantime, I've given my guy some Pepto and one Benadryl in hopes of calming the nausea, and told him to try a teaspoon of water every 15 minutes or so (he's been throwing up bile for the last couple of hours). I'll get him some Gatorade and Sprite later today (I have a migraine). And we're all getting plenty of rest.
Other than the above, what are your best tips for the flu? I haven't had the flu in about 18 years, so I'm not really sure what helps.

)and dropping the munchkin off with my mom for the day. I'm feeling better, save for a massive headache w/ some nausea, muscle aches and profuse sweating. I thought I was getting the flu this weekend, so it seems like the baby and I are several days ahead of Hubby (who's been taking care of us for a couple of days) on this.
