Flowers or shiny stuff? And is it a fetish?

So, does anyone else feel arouse looking at flowers or shiny sparkly things like gemstones? I don't mean people wearing flowers or jewelry, I mean the flowers or jewels all by themselves? I'm not sure if this counts as a fetish. It's not like I want to have sex with a flower, lol. But idk if I look through a catalog of beautiful beads or flowers I end up horny (and wanting to buy them).

I'll post this before the experts show up....just a pedestrian opinion here but perhaps it (they) shiny things & flowers have uncoverd a more primitave side of you where a 'fetish" can often protect against evil spirits or contains some majical power for the person and you've somehow tapped into that? On the other had, the urge to shop is quite modern! LOL I'll leave you to decide.

Me personally, I do not get excited or feel compelled to shop...but that is just me. However, I did date a woman who one night greeted me with a strategically placed red rose and I must admit I did get excited! But I don't think it is the same thing. Also like you picture. Good luck

I know exactly what you mean. It was much stronger when I was younger.

Freud called it "Polymorphous perversity" and it's the only thing the man got really right, IMO...
