I've become very interested in this case. Here's a run down.

While in a convenience store parking lot a man asks a group of teenagers to please turn their obscene music off.
The teens start cursing at him & point a shotgun at him.
He takes out his gun and defends himself.
He gets arrested.

Hang on folks, it's only going to get worse.

"Gangbangers." Right.

You really need to read the shit you're selling better.

He heard threats from the teens, Dunn told police, he felt threatened and thought he saw a gun in the teens' car. He grabbed his gun and fired at least eight shots, authorities said.

Your attempt was duly noted. Try again.

Idiots shooting at teens for playing loud music in public parking lots isn't "going to get worse".

He didn't shoot at them for playing loud music, he simply asked them to turn it down. He shot at them because they pulled a shotgun on him and he wanted to defend himself.

The story doesn't say the kids pointed a gun at him, doesn't say the music was "obscene" (only that it was loud), and doesn't say the deceased was in a gang.

Three blatant misrepresentations in one short post. Your RWCJ membership is in the mail.

So this guy fires at least eight shots at an unarmed teenager, killing him, then runs away to a hotel without calling the cops. Sounds like a stand up guy.

Why else would he defend himself?

nnngggh...

Defend from what? Loud noise?

Tell me, what made you call them "gangbangers?"

Tell me, how "obscene" was the music he was hearing? I don't believe I've read a report describing exactly what was being blared out of the car or assessments of its aesthetic value.

""Self defense applies because Mr. Dunn was threatened," Lemonidis said. "We can't say what the defense will be at this stage ... but stand your ground is a possibility."

Irony here is that this is the same poster who made an earlier thread alluding to fifteen years of public schoolchildren learning to lie because their teachers are liars.

Where's ol' Sigmund when you really need him, eh?

I apologize. I've read far more than one article on this topic. As I previously said I am very interested in it. Here is an article saying that a shotgun was pointed at him.

Dunn’s attorney, Robin Lemonidis of Melbourne, stated her client “absolutely” saw someone with a shotgun in the red sport-utility vehicle next to his car at the convenience store that night.

No proof of a shotgun, only Dunn's claim that he thought he saw one, then got scared enough to get his actual one and start playing Elmer Fudd as the teenagers tried not get shot up further.

...just can't with these basic bitches...

IF there was a shotgun there might be a case. Otherwise its just another scared white dude without a lick of common sense and a gun.

So, I see the Lit LWCJ is taking the side of the hooligan thug "kids." Simply amazing. Or, sadly, not so amazing.

An eyewitness statement is proof.

Do you even fucking read what's written or do you just make your decision based on the title of an article?

Guess what? not all kids who listen to shitty music are gang bangers.

Just because old and stupid people are scared of the way the youth dress and the 'music' they listen to, doesn't mean they are any more scary than the losers you grew up with.

It's people like you who make me thankful for my ancestors choosing Canada to migrate to.

You dipshits are afraid of your own fucking shadows.

there where no guns in the car from what ive read on the link you posted and he THOUGHT he saw a gun.

do i think he did the right thing hard to say unless i was in his shoes.
also how does a guy with a gun feel threatend by a bunch of teens blaring music in there car and by idle threats.
