I think it would be cool to meet up w/ some local Lit members - in a purely platonic fashion...it gets old just hanging around my husband lol :)

A couple of years ago we had a meet & greet during the air fest over at the base. It was 6 or 7 of us who live in West Central & had a military connection. I was still in the walking cast from achilles surgery so I didn't get to see much of the ground show but we had a blast & then dinner after at The Colonnade after. :)
 
This weather rocks. I get a kick out of it though. Hit 59 here in Daytona last night. Slept with all my windows open and I wake up smelling smoke from some of my neighbors fireplaces. Went to the grocery and all the blue hairs are bundled up like Eskimos.

Damn that sounds like it was a nice time :) Kinda sucks that anytime I go out it's always me, or I'm with my husband... I would like to shake things up, a girls night out or something!

I haven't been able to do anything like that for years. A large part was the gimpi girl thing. Now I have to try to pick how much I can get done doing so many events. I worked last SUnday at an event for TPD and paid for it for a couple of days until the next event & now have paid for all of that all week. :rolleyes: But I had a great time at both events this week! :D

I got sleep last night! It's not insomnia for me... it's hte neighbor's loud ass Harley coming in at 4 am when he gets off work at the bar. Call me crazy but it's something about 5 minutes of rattling bedroom windows that wakes me up. :confused: :eek:
 
It's hot enough that the desktop shut down on me so I pulled out the laptop to be able to be online...
how does anyone manage to balance these things and type...let alone play on Lit all at the same time?:confused:
