aha welcome to my world... 2nd cold shower of the day already had....
last few nights I've woken up hot & dizzy to slam down a small water
I can't wait til we get near 70 at night

and for the record. I don't think one needs to go out of their natural inclination/way for things/destiney to happen. After all some people are wanderers, others home bodies. If we were all alike then the world would be boring. When events or people are meant to happen/meet they will.

Florida beckoned me years ago. I have been here long enough that the humidity no longer frizzes my hair (the humidity is still high but I have less hair).

Mine too.

I finished the lawn and plucked out the old summer flowers. Pulled some weeds...lots of weeds.

And, I hate fire ants. Ouch!

I ran up to bardmoor & did chores at my sisters for a while.
I turnedon the fan & tried to freeze my butt some but it didn't hold once I got home.
It's raining here now and cooled down a little but I think it's too early to last.
I wish it would stay like this thru tonight for some nice sleeping

Wow, where is everybody? This Florida heat sure makes the boards slow down! I just dropped in to say hello, but I'll have to come back, I guess.

BIG storms in Daytona night before last and early this morning! Lots of thunder and lightning...I love the lightning! It looks like it may come back this evening, but you never know, right?

Hmmmm.....same here, except for a couple of passing showers that just wet the sidewalks and roads a little. Makes it more exciting if you're on a bike!

MIAMI BEACH - An artist is hoping to expose even more skin in South Beach.

Spencer Tunick photographs masses of people in the nude. He's looking for 800 people to pose sans clothes Oct. 8 at the Sagamore Hotel for a piece that will be unveiled during Miami Beach's annual Art Basel festivities in December.

Tunick has previously photographed 18,000 naked people in Mexico City and 7,000 people in Barcelona, Spain. He says he reveres the human body as abstract material.

The artist says he's looking for a range of body times – not just South Beach's famously trim models and gym addicts.
