A Simple Song
As I always do when I get a new album of somebody I like, as in a Neil Young or a Paul Simon or Bob Dylan, I sit down and figure out the chords of songs I want to learn...Friday, I went after work and bought the new Springsteen album 'The Rising'...the CD is decent as Bruce's stuff always is for me...he always tends to touch me with his songs..that working mentality I guess...then I got to the last one..'My City of Ruins'...clearly it's about NYC and 911...has a gospel flavor to it...so I printed the lyrics off the internet and tried to play along to the CD...and the tears just wouldn't let me finish it through one complete play...anyway, I share it with you all...

Yup, race was on, B (he got home this afternoon) was all set to watch, and I was just logging on when....CRASH! Out went the cable, internet and tv. So we went up to a sports bar/grill and my little man and I played air hockey while B watched his race. It was fun, although I got beat at Pacman by a 5 yr old!
