sorry to hear that. How did you tear your achilles tendon? That had to be a freak accident.

She had both her knees replaced at the same time? Damn...

What are you doing where you "roll your ankles"?

Ive played sports my whole life and I think I rolled my ankles a few times playing basketball but thats about it.

I too have had my share of serious aches & pains.

Thanks for the help of our parents..

what was I doing? just walking :(
I can be walking on a flat surface & if the ankle extends out too much it rolls
the good news is they made me a new tendon. 9 months & 5 casts, 4 months of therapy
now I'm working on pool torture at the gym to get my legs back to the same size & my strength/tolerance back up

Sounds very strange. I never heard of rolling your ankle while walking before.

It sounds like you are on the right path to recovery. Its just a bump in the road. You will be walking / running / hopping / skipping / and whatever else you want to do real soon.

Therapy sucks. I know from experience.

I dont know anything about Hyperflexibility Syndrome but I do know alot about RA. Luckily you dont have it.

"Joints flex more then normal" - how can you use it to your advantage? lol

my grandma had RA & the last 3 years they have been stuffing pills down me so not having it means 10 pills a day less! :nana:
this stuff memics RA a lot. need blood work to see it's not

I'm even off the anti-inflamitories thanks to this great book called The War within by dr Floyd Chilton.
I just take Omega3s, borage oil & stay away from certain foods

so far the only advantage is being able to reach most of my own back to scratch or lotion it up :(

what does OMEGA3 do?

basically helps lube the joints & helps flush out some of the inflamation
taking the borage oil & Omega3s 2 times a day with food only took a week for me to kick in
it took my bro-in-law 3 weeks but he swears by it now...
he also learned not to buy the economy jar of the 2 mixed at Sam's cause it doesn't work as well
