Been crazy busy with work, house renovations and family stuff out of town. You? Try Mazarro's yet on 22nd North (exit from I-275 heading toward the mall - it's on your right). Great Italian food store with a little food counter that can't be beat.

Crazy with classes ... just finished summer session ... one more to go. Plus got a job ... that's been busy ... they keep bringing me work. Imagine that! lol

Haven't tried Mazarro's ... will give it a shot ... oh, the silver diner? It's gone. I looked while I was down that way today ...

Actually I drove through there a month ago to go to a wedding on St. Pete Beach. Couldn't believe how much it changed.

Didn't really have time, but drove passed the place I lived for 3 years. Couldn't believe how much it had changed.

we're all getting older down here at St Pete Beach. I think it's the constant fight to deal with the snow birds one season and the road contruction the next. Lately it's all the condo construction thru all of Tampa Bay not just the beaches. Amazing how many they are building and I really can't say I've seen any affordable either.

No kidding! We're betting that the market crashes in the next couple of years ... at least for condos ... due to over-building. downtown st. pete has lots of new stuff going up ... especially around the Trop.

Hate to break it to you, but it is all over the state. Although the Tampa market looks like it's about to crash.

I think they'd more money with the Trop by dumping the team, painting it tan, move Joe Redner's businesses in there and calling it "The Big Boob". lol, sorry I have to look at that thing almost every day and it needs something!

Hey Gypsey I liked your first story. I know a couple of places down here that are like that. I also love the far north beach at Ft Desoto. The possibilities are there for the creative people who find it.

I did it!!!! I handled the scuba this weekend beautifully. It was so awesome. Did a spring dive on Saturday then hit the ocean today. Only dove 30 feet but the coral was gorgeous. Saw a bunch of crabs under the coral ridges. The second dive we did today was at a shipwreck off of Pompano Beach (USS Copenhagen). That was pretty cool. I cannot wait to do it again!!!!!!

WTG Sweetie. Now you need to get one of those boks for dive areas around the state and start marking off the visits! You'll have a balst and meet some really great people too.
