I'm a mutt, more Czech than anything I guess. I'm not real sure where all of the redheads in my family came from. My hair is/was brunette with a lot of red highlights, I have very fair skin, but brown eyes. Started getting a bit of gray and colored it auburn. My daughters have beautiful auburn hair with fair skin and of course freckles!

softey darlin' may I suggest a product called sunscreen? hehe Too late huh? Vinegar is the best remedy I've ever used for a burn.

Nope,, take a bath in tea. Yes I am serious, and don't call me surely.

I never tan but forgot the sunscreen. Won't do that again!!!

Mom is mainly Scottish with a touch of Irish thrown in. Dad is half Italian and the other half English and Irish mix. What a combo.

Naughty the women on mom side go white early so that is how I got my red hair *grin*. I started getting white hair at 15 years old. LOL Way too young for that!!

I usually swim at the pool by my mom at night so I don't burn but I was babysitting that night and couldn't wait to jump in it. You play you pay.

I hear ya Hatara. I started coloring my hair at about 25. I have more gray than Naughty's and my Mom!

I'm back!!!! Did anybody miss me?? While y'all are enjoying Florida weather, we are enjoying a variety! One day it is 80 and the next a cold front comes through and it's 32, like today!
I guess the only plus is I still get snuggled by the fireplace.
I gotta catch up on all the posts I missed!

It's about dang time! Thought I was going to have to send the Texas Rangers after you!

actually I think I prefer having a job and being able to afford to go somewhere as opposed to having the time and no money to go.

Strange/painful places to get sunburned;
your scalp, never put a distinct part in your hair unless you wear a hat!
your armpits, falling asleep with your arms above your head is a really bad idea! ouch
eyelids, makes it feel like your eyes have a beach full of sand in them.
butt cheeks, can make sitting down quite painful

Too hot in Lakeland yesterday, 92 and the humidity was up. Spent 5 hours on the golf course and then got in front of the computer under a ceiling fan. Soon the winter folks will begain to leave and the roads will be better, the shopping easier and the golf courses pretty wide open.

So just saying HI and will leave it at that.... or is it bye for now?
