Come on Peg; you've Florida blood in ya, you'll be missing the smell of the ocean and those lazy, hazy days of summer!

And continuing to change...Not sure it is all for the good though

No it isn't... I moved out west here 10-11 years ago when nobody wanted to be here. I loved the country life but its not country anymore. I am thinking of buying some property 3-4 counties north of here and building again so I can regain some of my lost country way of life.

I think you may miss the warm winters but I am sure you won't miss the sticky summers.

I do wish you the best of luck on the move though.

I'll tell you what I miss from Rhode Island... the food. I can't seem to get a good meal here to save my life.

 Indeed! And what sort of food is it you're looking for?
Although to be honest Wp, I don't eat out much myself, prefering my own cooking to many local restuarants.

~kym~ and I thought I was picky! :p

But then the same would probably happen again :(

As for me, I miss living on the water...Used to live right on the intercoastal, with the ocean only 1/2 mile down the road...Looking forward to moving back (if all goes according to plan)
