OMH at one point the whole house was shaking for almost 10 minutes solid with the lightning hits. I pulled all the cords out of the walls even with surge protecters.

down here along the beaches in St Pete. They hit me 2 times really hard yesterday. Impressive and scarey on the lightning hits we took. Even set the house phone off once when it hit a phone line.

ok I got caught out in that horrible nasty collision of storms yesterday afternoon. White out conditions on the bridge over to Tampa, white knuckles for a time after getting over the bridge. 20 minutes later except for all the dripping and standing water you'd never know it was storming with the sun.

Yeah, Fantasy Fest it lasts through the week of Halloween. Is that when you are going to make it down there? Have you been? It is so much fun.

Is there any holiday they don't get drunk and painted in the keys? That's pretty normal except for those of us not living there. lol, we all have our local fun oddities along the water here in Florida. You just have to look harder for the ones not advertised...

I have not been, but we are tentatively planning on it. I just need to make sure the dates will work.

They have drumming circles over at Treasure Island and Down In Sarasota too. IT's gotten really crazy more like a huge circus of hippies, wanna bees, and people just "letting go" dancing and beating on drums til it gets dark and then they ummm... wonder off to do what ever. The last one I went to was down in Sarasota but I saw a story in the ST Pete Times saying they were doing them here at TI now too.

yea i saw that too, wonder how thats gonna go down. I live on like 31'st and 9th but work in downtown St.Pete so i hear all kinds of crap from the Times workers comming in to CVS to buy stuff. its like, news before the news lol
