okay Jim, I'm fessing up...
a Dom friend of mine in Orlando had been trying for years to get me to read Norman's 'Gor' books...So, I finally relented and read one called "Captives of Gor", about a girl from Earth taken to Gor to be sold as a slave...one of the slave traders in the book was Soron...it was a tediuous book by the way...I felt some of the spirit of it but it wasn't very good...so when I needed a nic the name popped in my punkin' head for some reason...go figure...
