It is a LOT harder than people think to screw up magnetic media. Airport X-rays would be hard pressed to mess up a floppy. However, if you want to be 100% safe, you can ask the security people to examine them separately. If you go that route, though, make sure you allot some extra time.

Yes, the X-rays are okay, but don't carry them through the metal detector. The magnetism can ruin them.
