Hello all...I do realize that other that a few short sightings I have been here. Life has been hectic and with a new dom in my life all my spare time goes to his training...I mean my training.

Anyway the reason I start a topic today is that he has asked me to find a good quality flogger. He wants to buy me one for my birthday...isn't he sweet. I'm sure this topic has been posted somewhere before but I could not locate and would appreciate any suggestions other than Details.
Thankx.

how heavy do you wanna it?

Fur Floggers
Horsehair Floggers
Kangaroo Floggers
Suede Floggers
Deerskin & Bison Floggers
Chain Mail Floggers & Whips
Titty Whips

Well, here you have the link to the i-net shop I use to buy at:
kittens toy room

I'm sure you can tell him what to buy... but of course you are not topping from the bottom! ;)

Maybe take a look at Em Brand Whips also. The good thing about kangaroo leather is it is strong, flexible and durable and the most common leather used for bull whips because of it's unique properties. Handmade like this guy does also then increases its value, as well as giving you an opportunity to make it unique and you (or him) through and through...he will for a small charge also personalise it with an engraved nickel or sterling silver ring on the handle. Another good thing about this guy is not only is he lifestyle oriented and open to making a product the way you wish, your design etc., he also is very particular about his leather selecting only the best, pre-stretched to test strength, and he offers a full money back (including postage) guarantee for any product you are not happy with. Not an exchange, but give you back all your money...rare these days.

Do you know what sort of impact you prefer (thuddy/sting-y)?

Your best bet might be to attend a fetish fleamarket or unusually well-equipped store with him; how well a flogger feels in his hand and how it swings is going to be very important and having choices for comparison will help immensely.

That is very important. Having just gotten a really good quality bunny flogger, I can highly recommend it. But all depends on what you'd like done, what you'd like to experience/feel. I know of rapturefloggers.com. Quality work.

I absolutely *love* WIAN floggers (What's in a name)

WIAN Studios

Cecilia's floggers are well made, stand up to hard use, are the most beautiful looking and feeling you'll ever have the pleasure of using or having used on you, and are my personal favorites. I happen to like the heavy buffalo hide, but also own one of the elk leather, and have purchased a set of light cow leather floggers.

She also donates multiple times a year to the local leather organizations, and I think she's an outstanding lady.

We've spent a ridiculous amount on floggers. Our favorites were locally made, but we have a few gems from http://www.snakepitleatherworks.com . They're not for the frugal-minded, but if you want something to love forever (that will love you back, in its own evil way), these will give you a match made in heaven.

No connection, just a pair of very satisfied customers. :)

As a gift to compliment a gift, perhaps a rabbit-fur or mink glove for him?

Ew ew ew! I forgot to mention that in the 'hard limits' thread. I absolutely detest soft, fuzzy, fluffy stuff. NO, I'm not a PETA drone! I'll cheerfully eat smoked rabbit, lamb chops and just about anything that moos, just don't run that soft slippery shit on my skin! And fer chrissakes, stay the fuck away from my feet! I'll start by whimpering, but it will all end with me being seriously pissed off. LOL

OTOH, a pair of "devil's gloves" would be a really sweet thing to give. ;)

floggers

If you give me more details or have you Dom contact me I may be able to make a quality set of floggers. I hand make all my floogers from the very rough to the pleasantly ticklish. Materials used and weight and length are factors I am interested in.

I like a "set" of floggers because I enjoy switching up and there are times when my wrists are to tired to keep up the pace with a heavier leather flogger.

I suggest a set of 4-8 rope/string floggers as they can give a wide variety of effects with very little efffort.

For me the process that goes into making my tools is as important as the act of using them. The thought and time that goes into making them to give my Sub all she desires is important to me. I also get to adjust / create them to My feel.
When I can I will post a picture or two of ones I own / used.

Peace

George

Floggers indeed

Although it seems Jeanette Heartwood (whips of passion) is no longer making the floggers that bear her name, the ones I've purchased from the Toy Bag have all been exceptional. When you call them to place the order, they'll ask some very specific questions to help you determine what it is you're seeking. Each time we've gone through the type of sensations I'm seeking to provide, the colors I prefer (visual esthetics are important to me), and from how far away I like to work when flogging. At any rate, I've been more than pleased with the ones I've purchased from them, as Jeanette seems to have taught them well. The colors are vivid, the length is perfect and they are very well balanced. They really do seem like and extension of my hand when I use them.
