and had to see the doctor, then go to the hospital.

The day was beautiful. Sunshine, clear sky and warm. I was biking to the lake where the kids were going to go swimming. Right when I get there there's this damn rubber thingy and before I know it the bike goes into the air, folds underneath me, my hands loose their grip of the handles, my left arm hits the ground, the CRACK of my glasses is heard and my head goes into the ground.

I had to be helped away from the middle of the road and was dizzy etc. Got a ride to the doctor who said I didn't have a concussion (sp?) as I wasn't feeling sick and vomiting. Had to go to the hospital to get my arm X-rayed and on the way there I got sick. So, apparently I have a concussion and they had to X-ray my head too, to be on the safe side. (according to the doc I have a "beautiful brain". LOL)

Now I have bruises, scratches, patches on my elbow and knee, a red bump on my forehead, headache and heaps of needlesticks. The nurse was crap at putting in the IV. People will think I'm a drug addict. :p

So, no work tomorrow and plenty of rest this weekend. What a way to say bye to the kids, eh?

That puts you in the same company as President Bush, who also fell off his bike recently.

First Svenska and now you. What's with these accident prone Swedes?

OMG I'm as clumsy as Bush?

Liar, I think it's in our genes. Maybe we're clumsy by nature? Or it's the regular "this won't happen to me" thing that made me not wear a helmet since 6th grade.

Bicycles are more dangerous per km than motorcycles, but walking is most dangerous of them all...
