LMAO The last thing I would ever think you were is an idiot. I know better. *kisses your cheek* They were both Dickens actually. Twain wrote Tom Sawyer, Huckleberry Finn and a couple of okay books that I couldn't get into. I loved his essays though. He made social commentaries that were years beyond the times. If you ever get the chance, try to find the book Dear Writer, Dear Actress. It's a story of a man and a woman who corresponded for nearly their entire lives and they fell in love without ever meeting face to face. The book is comprised of the actual letters that were sent to him by her. You follow the relationship through their words to one another. These are real words by real people. There is no romance novel that can compare. There is another book too with his letters to her, but I haven't read it yet. The author just got permission to use the letters from her family.

Oooh, yeah, I guess I haven't read any Twain either. When I was in St Louis I saw a riverboat, though, and was like pah! it's Mark Twain (yeah..I'm a nerd.) That sounds like a really cool book. I'll definitely try and find that book. Do you happen to know who the "author" was? I can believe that they fell in love w/o seeing each other face to face. That's really cool.

btw, is it pathetic that I have my library card number memorized, but noy my drivers license number?

This is why I don't date LOL I am not hung up on someone's looks when it comes to love, it's actually about everything other than that. It's about whether you can wake up every day and look at the person, and smile no matter what kind of mood you're in, whether you've been fighting or life is a miserable pile. Can you smile at that person and feel safe and warm in spite of everything else? Can you wrap that person in your arms and just be there when you know they need it? And can you know they need it without waiting to be told? Can you love this person for their differences, instead of in spite of them? Can you just be yourself and appreciate them for the same? Physical attraction is a wonderful thing, and I enjoy it immensely, but if that's all it is, what is it really? I'd rather love a person than a face. *putting away my soapbox*

I love to listen to The Wreckers (Leave The Pieces just kicks), Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Kenney Chesney, old Garth Brooks and a few others.

*standing ovation* That was a wonderful spiel. I almost teared up. haha no, but in all seriousness, I completely agree with you. Besides, I find that the more I like someone's personality, the more attractive they are to me--even if they usually wouldn't be, quote "my type." It's really about finding that person who you feel comfortable and happy with...no matter what the situation.

And I've never had a speeding ticket. haha

In all honesty, a great conversation absolutely does it for me. I love to listen, and talk about just about anything. Sitting on a beach in the evening looking up at the sky and just talking is one of my absolute favorite things to do and a major turn-on. Personality is what does it for me, maybe that's why I don't have a type.

Yeah..I always wanted to just go lay in the grass in my backyard and stare up at the stars w/a guy while having a great conversation. Maybe next summer :rolleyes:

But I agree that it's all about personality. And regarding my spotless driving record..you're just jealous :p lol

Well, you know as well as I do, if I were anywhere around, we'd have already done that LOL And it takes a special kind of guy to do things like that with. There don't seem to be that many of us around any more, unfortunately. Nobody has time to really appreciate the "moments" any more, they're all too busy trying to get on to the next thing.

Yeah...a lot of guys just want to screw around (literally.) I've been with one of those :rolleyes: Hell, I left one of those a message tonight. Come to think of it, the other guy I've had a face-to-face meaningful converation with was gay! LOL
