Also, How To proper is more for How to-type questions...How do I do ____? How do I find_____?, etc. Polls are usually better left for The Playground, General Board, and in some cases, the HT Cafe.

Reading the stickies at the top of How To should prove useful, and I bet there's a thread or two on first times in The Blank Manual sticky.
