my two cents:

anal is a lot of fun if done right, and when you're a beginner, right means:
- taking it at a slow pace
- tons of lube...no such thing as using too much lube

Yer not weird. A single finger isn't my favorite. too textured, and my wife has thick fingers. It sounds like you really enjoy the sensation of 'fullness' that comes from thicker toys/cocks.

That being said, I do have a little advice. First of all, doggie is not necessarily the best position for one's first anal experience, at least not in my case. There are a number of views on this issue. Some people say you should use an enema before hand. Others say as long as you evacuate your bowels before hand you'll be fine. Personally I've never had a problem that would prompt me to recommend an enema. Just make sure you've gone to the bathroom and cleaned up good and you should be fine.
