This was finally happening. I had spent my whole life with the dream of becoming an archeologist, diving into some long forgotten cluture. I wanted to travel the world and I studied hard for it. I was fluent in ten languages, i learned about combat from my father who was a hardcore military man. I was the perfect guy to be a wolrd famous explorer.

And now in my last semester at Cainbridge, i was on my first expedition. I only hoped it would be legendary! The trip was supposed to be a small trip out to an island call Isla Nublar off the coast of Costa Rica where there were some ruins that dated back to 600B.C. As a class we werent expected to discover anything, the trip was more of a handholding guide into some real ruins by our instructor Proffessor Clark.

There were five of us on the trip including myself but not including the ship crew. It was me (Jake Anderson by the way), Mike Ryan, Professor Clark, Michelle Taipers, and Lara Croft. Of those people only Lara fancinated me. Her father had been the man I longed to become. A famous explorer, ungodly rich, literally the Hugh Heffner of science. Sadly he was killed with a tomb he was exploring collapsed on him.

Lara was his daughter and now the sole heir of his fortune. The boat we rode on now belonged to her. Lara took after her fathdr in brilliance, she often could spot things on a map or photoimage that nobody else noticed. This was also going to be her first real trip to ruins in the world. I looked forward to seeing what she came up with.

She was also incredibly hot. I mean i am a guy and i can say these things. Believe me when i tell you Lara was beyond belief beautiful. Her face was soft and kind, yet her eyes held an incredibly erotic strength in them. Her long brown hair looked like it would always be in a ponytail, even without her help. Her body was flawless, i mean she looked like a professional athlete, not an once of fat on her. Flat wonderous abs, yet large firm perky breasts, and enough of an ass that a guy could really get a grip on.

I digress though. Lara was hot but there was one problem with her. She was absolutely oblivious to my exsistance. I partnered with her in class once and she didnt say a word to me that didnt have to do with the assignment. It made her very hard to get to know. Though it seemed like a guy problem. Id seen her with michelle laughing and chit chatting over lunch so i knew she had a personality behind the brain.

I only wish she would talk to me.

Remember how i said this was supposed to be a smooth trip. Easy little zip down the coast stop on the island and fuck around for a while right? Well it didn't go that way. Our little trip turned out to be a nightmare on earth and it threw Lara and me together in the middle of it.

It began in the early morning the day we were to arrive on the island. I woke up before first light as I wanted to get into the bathroom before the girls took it over when they woke. As i headed toward the bathroom i heard the crew shouting up top. The shouts were muffled so i moved to a little port window to see what was going on. All i saw was another boat tied against the side of ours. Again i heard shouting up top. Then the unmistakable pop of gunfire, in slow motion i saw the captain of the Croft ship fall overboard right past my window.

I spin quickly when i heard a door open. Lara emerged from her chambers rubbing her eye, "What's going on Jake?" She asked, which caused me to pause as I dont ever remember her saying my name before. Her little english accent made it sound so sexy.

Whoa wrong time to be thinking about that.

Another door opened, this time it was the door that led to the deck. I heard the loud rumble of the other boat and men shouting. "Find Croft, the general wants her on the island at his feet in two hours."

I spun toward Lara who still didnt seem to register this mornings events. I needed to hide her, my father's military teachings ran instantly through my head. I knew that hiding her in her room was a bad idea they would find her. I glanced around quickly and found and electrical closet. Inside would be the circuit board of the boat and just enough room for the two of us to mash together and shut the door.

I darted to Lara and grabbed her wrist. "Lara come with me." I didnt wait for her answer, i pulled her down the hall amd jerked open the cabinet. "Stay quiet or we die." I told her and pushed her inside, jumping in after her and shutting the door behind me. The closet was an extremely tight space and i found myself pressed against the from of Lara's body so tightly that her chin basically rested on my should and her breasts were mashed against me. She felt good, she smelt good, just wow.

Behind me i heard the man kick open a door and fire a few rounds from some kind of automatic rifle. Then a voice shouted, "Dont shoot her you moron, we need her alive to decipher the scripts."

"She's not in here." A different voice, i assumed the gunman's.

"Find her then. She has to be onboard somewhere."

I heard Lara gasp and felt her tense against me. "Shhh!" I urged. Our combined bodies were starting to make this space very very hot and sweat started to form on my forhead. Here i was against the beautiful Lara croft and i was out of deorderant.

((Need someone who is story focused and yet sexually open to be my sweet adventurer Lara Croft.))

Yanked into a cramped, hot space wasn’t exactly how Lara had imagined spending her morning. A little stunned and confused, she glanced up at Jake as he shut the door behind them, locking them into the circuit room of the boat. What the hell was happening, she wondered as she heard the sound of a door being kicked open, followed by the short blasts of an automatic rifle.

Her eyes widened as a voice shouted that they were looking for her. They needed her alive to…decipher scripts? Could it be…? She gasped as the voices hurried off, leaving them alone with the humming of machinery and the very handsome man that was pressed against her.

Turning her dark eyes up towards him, she quickly formed a plan in her mind. She needed a few things from her cabin and then they needed to get out of there. The ship would flounder and if she were right in her assumptions, they had to be near the island. It wasn’t the best idea she’d ever come up with, but it was certainly better than being captured, tortured, and possibly murdered.

“Listen to me carefully, Jake.” She said, her voice barely a whisper. “We need to get off this boat as fast as possible. I have a few things in my cabin that I need. We can swim to the island and regroup from there.”

Jake waited to reply, part of him was hoping for an excuse to be pressed against the beautiful Lara for a little longer. He nodded finally though and reached back to carefully open the door. He stepped back and listened waiting for a sound of someone coming. He motioned Lara out and move toward her room down the hall. He paused as he felt the boat lurch and realized the boat was moving...quickly.

He spun toward Lara and urged her to her room, "Grab what you are going to grab quickly. I dont think we are going to flounder. I think we are going to crash." He said.

He darted toward the entrance to the deck and carefully peeked his head out. They were in fact moving at full throttle. The early morning sun peeking just over the horizon now. Jake saw the island looming in a cloud of fog and he saw the pirate boat ahead of them heading for a cove.

However Jake and Lara were on a colision course for a sheer faced cliff. They were going to trap them on the island.

"Lara hurry! We're gonna crash!" He cried down the hall l.

Lara scurried across the hallway to her room. She quickly shimmied out of her pajamas and into a pair of khaki cargo pants. A white tank top was pulled over her head and a pair of sturdy boots on her feet and she was quick gathering what she needed. Her journals were placed into water tight bags and slipped into her backpacks. A satellite phone was placed into another bag and nestled beside the journals just in case. Pulling open a drawer on her desk, she blew out a deep breath as a pistol and ammunition came into view. She didn’t think that she’d have to use them, but she’d learned from her father to always be prepared. Those too were slipped into plastic bags and into the backpack.

Hearing Jake’s voice calling to her that they were going to crash, she slung the bag around her shoulders, hurrying down the hallway until she had a clear view of what they were heading towards.

“Hope you can swim.” She said, grabbing his arm and pulling him towards the back of the boat quickly.

The water was churning behind them, the clear blue tropical waters making white capped waves as they sped towards the island. It wasn’t the greatest, but it would have to do, she thought to herself.

“Up on the railing and jump! Now!” She called to Jake as she climbed onto the rail of the boat and leapt into the warm waters.

Jake spun and gasped a bit at her as she came with a backpack and dress for battle in a way. She grabbed him and they headed toward the back of the boat. "Hey im a great swimmer. I was all state and....fuck i hate water." He said and cried out as they leapt off the bost seconds before the bow slammed into the rocks.

The boat crumpled on itself with a crash that they felt with concussive force under the water. Jake kicked away from the wreck and swam for the surface as quickly as he could. When he broke the surface he was not far from an inlet cove on the island. He blinked and shook the water from his eyes.

Lara was already on the island knealing and rummaging through her backpack. Jake didnt know how she got there so fast, but he was certainly able to admire the way her clothe clung to her sweet soft body. Her hair cascaded down her shoulders and he wanted to pounce on her.

Instead he pulled himself on shore and shook his head, "I cant believe this is happening. Why would they attack college students on a field trip. Hell they destroied your boat." He said glancing back toward the ship which was now mostly underwater.

The shock of hitting the water at such a speed was a momentary inconvenience. Lara quickly kicked herself to the surface and towards an alcove where they could regroup and make a plan of attack. She glanced over her shoulder at Jake as he pulled himself onto the beach and took a long moment to look at her before asking what had happened.

“They want information that I have.” She said as she pulled out the gun and quickly slipped the clip into the weapon, making sure that it was undamaged by the swim in the sea. “Information is a dangerous thing. I’m afraid that they’ll kill our classmates if we don’t move quickly.”

Quickly gathering her damp hair, she pulled it into a ponytail at the back of her head, cinching it tight to keep it out of her face. “What do you know about this island?” She asked him, wanting to know what information he knew and how that could benefit the both of them.

Jake blinked at the gun the sudden appearance of a weapon startled him. Lara was usually soft spoken and sweet. To see her in this sudden change of battle mentality it took him offguard. He listened to her question and he sighed. He didnt know what he was going to do. But if he could help Lara he was damn aure gonna try.

And he needed to answer her question. "Well i know what the professor taught us. This island was once a Mayan temple or something like that. They used to woreship lizard-like gods here and praying for good wealth for their people. It's a fairly old site and isnt supposed to contain much. This was supposed to be a goddamn field trip for amateur archeologists, not a fucking pirate base."

He sighed and shook his head, "And when did you turn into sexy Rambo, Lara? I mean i thought i was saving you." He chuckled softly. "So much for trying to be your hero." He muttered.

Lara absently listened to Jake was he spouted off the little information that he knew about the island. It was mostly right, but their professor was a joke. The man was smart, but had severely underestimated the danger that lurked among the lush green foliage and tropical plants.

When he stopped talking and let out a deep sigh, she turned her dark eyes towards him and smiled slightly. He was a sweet man, one that was also very handsome. She hadn’t failed to notice him in class or out and about with friends, but her life was complicated and she didn’t need a messy relationship to contend with.

“You’ll find that I’m not really much of a wilting girl.” Lara said with a shrug as she shouldered her bag. “But who knows? For the right guy, I might be convinced.” She smiled at him and winked.

He eyed her glinting smile and wondered if she meant what she said or if she was simply trying to make him feel better. Clearly she had more experience than he could have thought possible, and maybe if they worked together they could get off this island with their friends alive. He turned his attentions to the surroundings and saw that in order to get into the body of the island they would have to climb their way up a cliff about twenty maybe thirty feet into the jungle.

"Here I am with no climbing shoes." He said and started to lift himself onto the rock face. "You want me to carry the bag?" He offered as he got himself a good foothold.

The actually climb up the rock wall was not too bad, but once they were in the jungle he took a deep breath and squated down. "I think the best approach is trough as thick of jungle as we can navigate. The brush should hopefully give us cover. Problem is keeping our sense of direction to make sure we down walk in circles." He explained.

Jake was a good guy, one that was a little unsure about his role in this whole messed up situation. If it would make him feel better to take her bag during the climb, she was more than happy to oblige. Offering it to him, she waited until he was halfway up the wall before she began her own climb.

Pulling herself over the ledge at the top, Lara glanced around the thick jungled landscape. Her eyes scanned over the foliage as she listened to Jake’s very sensible plan. It seemed like he had a good head on his shoulders as well.

“You know you can very well die doing this.” Lara said bluntly. “I don’t blame you if you wanted to run and hide.”

Jake looked at her, at first he couldnt tell if she was serious, but her gaze assured him. He shook his head, "I cant let you do this alone Lara. Besides where would i hide? The boat is underwater and the only way out of here is fucking those bastards up." He told her, then he shrugged, "I would like a weapon or something though. Maybe we can find a big knife or another gun."

He turned his attentions to the jungle and started forward brushing away the plants as they made there way through. It was hot and many of the plants were wet. Not that it mattered as they were soaked anyway from the swim. Still the heat borthered Jake and he really wasnt happy out here.

As they made it through the jungle Jake paused as the sound of some kind of car could be heard ahead. "Maybe its a road or something." He suggested. Then behind the sound of the car came a massive roar. Unreal and loud and terrifying. "A big road?" He said with a worried look on his face

The sound that echoed across the jungle sent a shiver up Lara’s spine. She glanced at Jake as he asked her what she thought it was. Sometimes it was better not to say and she simply shrugged, passing her weapon over to him.

“I can handle myself out here, but I want you to be armed at least.” She said, her eyes growing soft for a moment as she looked at her friend. “It’s dangerous and you might die. I won’t lie to you about that.”

The jungles weren’t a place for people that were inexperienced and unprepared for whatever it could throw at you. Combine that with the fact that there was a crazy madman out there looking for her and it could quickly turn into a shit storm.

Jake fought hard to calm his heart racing. He needed to get a grip, his father had taught him how to handle situations like this. With a shake of his head he cleared his fears, and steeled himself for what he was about to have to do. Self defense was something he had been prepared for, but in this...he might have to kill people.

He nodded, "Alright Lara, I can do this. My father taught me what to do. I am prepared to do whatever we need to do to survive this. I'm not dying a virgin." He gave her a wink and began to move through the jungle.

After whatever that roar was it had made everything in the jungle quiet and Jake moved forward listening very carefully to fucking every single squeak in the woods. Finally they came to a break in the jungle on a small rise that over looked a small dirt road.

He looked around and saw the dust down the road and pointed, "Looks like the Jeep went that way. So I guess we go to. Stay in the woods though so we aren't seen."

“A virgin?” Slipped out of her lips before she could stop them and Lara actually blushed as he gave her a glance and the topic was skipped over.

Someone as handsome as Jake was a virgin? How in the hell did that happen in this day and age, she asked herself as she followed after him through the woods until they came across a small dirt rose. She let him take the lead, pointing their way towards the Jeep and nodding as he suggested that they stick to the woods lest they get spotted.

“I think there’s a city in that direction. If not, there’s ruins. Either way, we’re libel to see someone.” She said as she shrank back into the woods, waiting for Jake to join her before they started on their hike.

They worked their ways through the woods, following in the direction of where the jeep had gone. Jake was afraid of what they wound find, afraid of getting caught before they had a chance to make a difference. After a mile or so, the sounds of work could be heard, construction work. Jake paused and focused on the way ahead, the jungle was about the break open and they would be exposed.

He could hear the rumble of machines like bulldozers, and large trucks. What the hell where they doing on a useless island with all this equipment? He glanced back at Lara and said, "Take it slow, the jungle opens up over there." He pointed.

They moved to the edge of the woods and peeked out to into the clearing. "Holy shit." He whispered.

Before them was a massive golden temple. Along the stones where etched runes and symbols, leading up to a dark entrance that then lead down into darkness where they couldn't see further from here. The pirates or whatever they were had begun building scaffoldings up the temple to grant access and ease of moving these crates from within the temple itself. Obviously they were looting it. What wasn't obvious was why they needed a bunch of armed men.

Dozens of heavily armed guards patroled around the area. Jake couldn't imagine a reason for them unless something extremely valuable was hidden inside the temple. Though who else would come along and steal it?

"Shit that is a lot of armed assholes." He turned to Lara, "Where do you think they are keeping our class?"

People would kill…and probably had…to see what the two of them were currently viewing. Lara crouched beside Jake, looking down at the bulldozers and trucks as they moved around the golden temple that held unspeakable treasures. It was like a dream, something she’d only heard about from her father, but she was looking at the tower as it sparkled in the light.

“I don’t know. They probably have a camp around here.” She said as Jake turned to her and asked where they were keeping their class. “But they are just as safe there as anywhere. I think we need to get into that temple.”

She offered no other explanation as she turned from the view point and drew further into the foliage. “In the night would be best. They can’t work at night in this terrain, but we most definitely can.”
