ok.... this is a really really dumb question... but, well I am pretty clueless. I am a virgin and I plan on having sex with my boyfriend really really soon. I was wondering if it hurts every female. I have used vibrators for quite a while now... and one of them is fairly big so I am not sure if the whole hurting thing will still apply to me.

if you have been using vibrators (and, I am guessing, tampons) then I would imagine any 'pain' you might experience would be more down to fear, nervousness etc than any actual physical barrier. Go at a pace that is comfortable to you, take your time, don't worry for a second about whether youare doing everything 'right' or not because there is no such thing, and I'm sure it will all be fine. Best wishes:rose: and enjoy.

okie dokie. Thank you alot! I am alittle nervous... but i am sure it will be great. The only thing i was kinda worried about (not really worried but I can not think of a better word.) was whether it would hurt.

Another suggestion is to have lube on hand just in case, sometimes dryness can be a problem when you are nervous. I would recommend Astroglide as it is readily available in most grocery stores in the pharmacy section.

be sure that you are on top for your first time so you can control depth of penetration and speed. i think you'll be fine! have fun!!!

Also, make sure that your partner brings you to orgasm first...through oral/ fingering/whatever...that way you'll be nice and wet and needy. I did bleed, so being prepared for it will help. I was a little sore after. It will depend on your lovers' size and width. Tampons aren't wide enough to rip the hymen. Just a general fyi. But if you're in a trusting and loving relationship and take things slow you'll have a great time.

Although the first time did hurt, my second time was fantastic!

I think the virgin pain in my case was definitely more due to nervousness (on both our parts) than to any physical barrier. I clenched up tight and my husband had an incomplete erection, which oddly enough can abrade you more than a hard penis does. I was very uncomfortable as long as it lasted and neither of us came.

But we got over it. The second time (and the thousandth) was fantastic. Don't despair. ;-)
