There is an upside for a writer - contest entries do seem to attract more readers - they don't always vote as high as you would like.

I know that I read and vote on contest stories that I normally wouldn't.

You will get a lot more comments on contest stories.. because commenting is how most of us keep track of which stories we have read and voted on.

I guess I'm one of the strange ones.... I've never been nervous about weather or not my stories would be accepted. So far... I've never had one rejected. Damn I just put the kiss of death on the next one!!!!!

Once it posts though... I'm always nervous nervous nervous.... I have my scores on speed dial and for several days.... I check hourly what the scores are....

Never get over that nervousness!

I don't know... but if given sufficient lattitude in the search for an appropriate method of removal it could be fun!
