First story submitted

If you put it in the "Loving Wives" section, you'll get nothing but disease riddled douche nozzle trolls, that fill your comments.

They remain "anonymous" because they don't have the balls to make an account or use their name.

Welcome and wish you success. Don't sweat the comments too much. Reminder, you can always delete them if they are attacking or just awful.

It will be titled "Ocean Apart" and as long as its approved should come up under the incest/taboo category.
Its funny i started it off with intention of being just a single long story. I now have it split it 4 parts. Possible 5 if needed to wrap up their journey. As a fan i hated not knowing what happens to the charcaters. So i wanted to give that for mine. A clear vision of the future and journey.

It will actually be in the incest/taboo category since it involves step siblings.
you might get some stick for step-siblings. maybe not. either way, it's something that you took the plunge. kinda nerve-wracking waiting for the scene to come up, then you're hanging on comments. kudos whatever happens.

Quick question. I submitted story on the 14th. In my control panel it says pending. If its rejected do i get any sort of notification of what is wrong or what needs to be fixed? Is it normal to take this long?

If rejected, it'll move to the "Sent Back" section of your Works, and the notes-to-admin field, when you go to edit it, will have an explanation as to why.

Two weeks isn't unusual for a first-time story to wait in pending. About a week if you're a more regular writer. But it also depends on story length. Longer stories can take longer to approve.

Pending will also change to new, if it gets approved. In which case it may still take a day or so before it appears.

Alright this is just pure entertainment getting to see things from the writers side with comments and feed back. Some of the comments im getting are great others i have to shake my head.
One person commented he gave it a 4 and he's being nice cause he hates stories that end on a cliff hanger.

Another says he gave it a 3 cause he dislikes anything that has bi/les/gay material. So because i have a 3way happen i get a 3 lol.

All i know is i have a much deeper respect for the thick skin you writers develop.

I leave all my stories open ended and the overwhelming majority of readers ABSOLUTELY HATE it and have given me low scores

Congratulations and good luck.

I will second what Rusty told you: add the link to your submissions page to your signature. That way, we can easily see your story, read it, and give you feedback. Make things easy for potential readers.

Ooh! A generous one. Most haters just go to the extremes when voting.
Don't worry about it too much - the votes will balance out and stay pretty steady in a few days, and that'll be your real feedback.

Any rating of 2, 3, or 4 shouldn't be taken as a hater. Those are personal preferences. Your stories are unlikely to appeal to everyone every time you write and post. So, those who have their own standards of what they appreciate or dislike will likely rate higher or lower than a 3.

The haters are those who consistently rate a story a 1, and you can tell they're a hater because of the caustic comments they post with it.

IE. If you write a story titled "Shared Wife Has Fun" and the tag line says; "Husband enjoys the sex show his wife has with friend", what type of person opens that story and (surprise) rates it a 1 with a hateful comment calling her a whore and him a cuckhold? (That's what happens in the Loving Wives category.)

Can someone check if i added the submission page link correctly to my signature please. If not explain how its done. Sorry still a newb at this whole thing.
