First Snow

Pretty but shy young housewife just moved from sun belt to a wintery climate cause hubby got a new job. The day of the first big snow, hubby goes off to work in his 4x4, leaves wife to go out during day to shovel.

This is her first chance to meet a few of the neighbours who are home during the day- the young doctor who works shifts at the hospital; the housewife next door; the strapping nineteen year old student living at the corner....

eventually, she invites one or more in for cocoa, but realizes their wet clothes need to go in the dryer...
