Who counts as your first love?

Would it be your first sexual encounter, or that, by now, excruciating experience from an adolescent age?

I recall Bettina, a Dutch girl who went to the same school as me in Melbourne, Australia. I wrote her a love note that was intercepted by a 'friend', who of course spilled my guts throughout the entire school - if you were in Penders Grove Primary in 1975 you can get fucked!

I count her as my first love, and it was fuckin' painful.

So who's gonna spill their guts and follow my confession?

I'll spill.... I must confess I always had a thing for the slightly older girl

She was the typical girl next door... And she was the first girl I kissed at the ripe old age of 9.

Still, she don't come anywhere close to the love I have now for one very very charming Litster who I might add is younger;)

My first love was when I was 11, his name was Reece, I followed him around everywhere. One boy was really mean and used to call me names, him and Reece had a fight and it ended with Reece having his front teeth chipped. I just loved the way it made him look all hard and cool.

Sadly the little shit asked my best friend out instead of me. Boy does first love hurt. :(

My first love was Carlene, whom I met at the age of 12 during a friends birthday party. We stole a few kisses behind her shed while the Extreme song "More Than Words" was playing.

She moved across state lines soon after and that was that. I do still think of her whenever that song happens to play.

did you have those 'assets' in those days, babe? i bet he woodna slid to your best mate if he'd clocked those bewdies! ;)

First love. Damn.

My first love was in fact a 'holiday romance' if you like. I was 15 (a late developer where guys were concerned), met a guy of 17 on a family skiing holiday. He sung that song Tom Cruise did in Top Gun ('Tracks of my Tears' if I recall correctly) to me and we spent most of the remainder of the holiday together. I fell for his charm big style. He had a girlfriend at home and told me he was going to split up with her when he got home. When we got back....surprise, surprise, he told me that he'd decided to stay with her. Broke my heart.

Bugger me, about 4 weeks later a valentine's card turned up from him with some VERY saucy comments in it! I never heard from him again.... :D

there's a romance story in that, LM.

i love these tales. brings the bittersweet timeslip back to me. i wonder if these first experimental moments are the beginnings of the callouses that grow around an adult heart?

fuck me, i've gone all rupert brooke . . .

My first crush was Roberta, when I was 11 ... met her at a party where they were playing Spin the Bottle, but the combination never worked out quite right.

Unfortunately, we were never more than "just good friends." So maybe "first love" doesn't exactly fit, but I still remember her.

You reckon? I've no chance writing it, I still haven't finished the last one I started

It's funny, I still remember the card and exactly what it said to this day. 20 odd years on.

it was the enduring memory that prompted me to begin this thread. i mean, how can a person be so influential 20/30/40 years later?

in my case i was 11, but i can recall how pretty she was and how i ached for her - not in a penis sense, but from the heart.

. . . and they call it puppy love!

At first he watched her, studied her, committing every detail of her body to mind before recalling the day-bright images each night as he masturbated, the sweat rolling off him under the blanket of Spanish heat. It was ten days from the start of that holiday to the end, ten days of volcanic lust that erupted from the eye of his cock and changed both their lives.

just the first paragraph . . .

My first love was a curly head italian boy called Frank.

The first time we ever met, I was 10 and I'd arrived at the school year one week late after, well basically just wagging pretending to be sick, and he was the new boy.
He was seated next to me where we proceeded to fight like cats and dogs for a good 2 hours before we each got detention where we became fast friends.

This was to become the pattern of our relationship for...um *counts on fingers...* how old am i now? lol a good 13 years.

As i had to stay in afterschool care everyday, he would go home, then come back on his bike...hair re-gelled, and we would spend the next two hours fighting and making up, while talking about our crushes (i had to make one up cos HE was my crush) and the meaning of life. Out fights weren't just verbal, i had a violent streak and liked to take out my frustration by hitting him discreetly...he did the same but with less sneakiness and would get caught by the teacher and get detention afte detention...and pamphlets on harassment :D

Then it came time to pick highschools...and by the sheer grace of god and the fact that no other schools wanted us, we ended up going to the same one...where we continued to fight and make up on a daily basis, and him walking me home every day.

We both declared undying love for each other numerous times...always conveniently while the other was in one relationship/make out session or another...and we never quite got it together...save for a drunken kiss one night via spin the bottle.

He was my bestest friend and my first love.
And it's his birthday today and before writing this i sent him a text message and he just sent me back one... with a picture of his wife and one year old little boy.

fucker.
got his life together before i did  ;) :D

Unfortunately I had two fried eggs :D My best friend had purple leg warmers and I didn't, I'm sure that's the reason the shit picked her, she was way more trendy than me :(

I know just what you mean. I remember crying so hard, writing him a letter, pouring my heart out, that I never posted...

I look back with a sense of wonder that I fell so hard, so quickly. Mind you, it wasn't the last time that happened either

My first was a Portuguese boy that was new to my school when I was 10. He was smart, and had beautiful longish black, shiny hair. To express my love, I believe I kicked him in the shins at recess. heh

I crushed hard for a couple of years, but we remained, good friends.

Then, later in High School, he fell for me, but I had moved on to a 12th grade basketball player...the youthful heart is a fickle creature.

he managed to resist those almond eyes? fuck me! *amazed*

My first love was when I was 12 his name was Tim and I thought he was awesome. He was older than me so much couldn't happend, but I admit that I was in love with him, My first white guy too, first I ever kissed, first dick I saw, and also the first one I had a hard time letting go.

You win some you lose some.

Mike, *sigh*.. I met him in Health, Sophmore year( 15 yrs old?). I remember seeing him from across the room as I entered the door, and I went and sat in the next row from him, one seat behind. * drooling*.. Tall, 6'2", the blondest shaggy, long( this is in the 80's yall', least it wasn't a Mullet..LOL) hair you could imagine. He was thin, but not overly, Had the most beautiful deep blue eyes I had ever seen.He was wearing Light blue levis and a green flannel shirt. He smelled of fresh soap and shampoo.

I immediately had a super huge crush on him, but didn't dare tell him. A few months later, after we had been friends and hung out at basketball games ( he was on the team)and parties n such, he asked me to " go steady" we went out for 2 years off and on,until he quit school to join the Navy. We wrote to each other constantly " I love you", "Miss you"... etc...

He met a girl while over seas and married her, I got the letter saying " Im sorry, I know this is going to hurt you, but Im truly in love, and I think Chris is pregnant." I was never mad at him for that for some reason. When he came home on leave a few years later, a friend of mine called me and said " Mike is here, and he wants to see you"

I went to her house, we talked and remained JUST friends/fuck buddies for years.

I stopped talking to him when I met my "true love". But we never had any cross words, never had fights, never crabbed... ever..for close to 4 years of our ( on- off) relationship... weird. I wonder where he is now...

Geesh, that was so long ago.
