Tomorrow is my first day at my new job and I'm so nervous I feel like throwing up.

Help Me!

Good luck and dont throw up where people can see...

What you gonna be doing?

Don't be nervous, be happy! Remember how hard you worked to find and land this job! This is your reward for all that work.

It always takes awhile to "fit in" at the new place, think of it as being a kid going to a new school. It won't be long before you're part of the lunch crowd and it feels like you've been there forever.

Good luck!

Well tomorrow I don't actually do any work, it's just orientation. After that we shall see...the job description will be written over the next several months.

Sink or Swim...aaaaacccckkkkkkkk!!!!

Funny you compared it to school...my Mom asked me if I needed a new pencil or backpack and if I had lunch money. She's such a smartass sometimes. :) I love her dearly.

:)

Don't worry to much - I have been there before and I am nervous the night before but then once I get there - you always find someone who makes you feel at ease and comfortable.

Don't be to nervous , just enjoy yourself and make new friends. :)

What's to worry about?

I mean just think, dozens of new faces watching your every move, evaluating everything you do, every word you say. No cause for concern there!

Have a nice day!

Oh gosh...I feel so much better now thank you.

Ignore our resident smartass and endure the first day.

Orientation probably means tons of paperwork and policy manuals.

Save the nerves for when you actually start working. You'll be wonderful.

Just be carefull surfing the net at work. they might have tracking software winstalled...

I don't plan on logging onto Literotica while at work nor will I receive any personal emails or phonecalls either...I'm not doing ANYTHING to risk losing my job. It took many, many months to find this job and playtime can wait until personal time at home on my own personal computer.

PB,

Good luck and knock 'em dead. The great thing about a new job is that in some respects, its a great big "do over". You can create whatever reality you want - in this case, you really are what you want them to see.

Take a deep breath, but on your best smile, and kick some ass!

Good Luck PB!

1. Smile :)

2. Relax

3. Use the girl's room first thing.

4. Remember to wash your hands.

5. Pay attention to the teacher. ;)

6. Don't trade your carrot sticks for junk food. :p

7. Enjoy your new adventure. :D

Do I sound like a mommy?

you forgot

use a tissue, not your sleeve

don't chew gum unless you have enough for everyone

don't be afraid to ask questions if you dont understand something

if you feel any self doubts just repeat: "I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and Darn It, people like me!"

good luck hun!!!!!!!!!
