Alexa Janas
OOC:
Private Alexa Janas
23 years
5'6", 105lbs
lean, athletic build
measurements: 30B - 24 - 29
Swedish Terran
fair skinned
long, blonde hair, draped up into a bun when on duty
member of the security staff, trained in light weapons, hand-to-hand combat and conflict de-escalation
---------------------------------------
IC:
Alexa Janas was still drowsy when Lt. Eiselmann called upon her to accompany him on a routine freighter inspection. She had just sat through night shift (of course there was no real 'night' out here in space, but according to TST (Terran Standard Time) that was the reference for time measurement on the station it had been night). Now after six hours of sleep she was on duty again, still sleepy and looking forward to her upcoming holidays. Of course on a space station this remote there wasn't really anywhere to go and spend your free time but it was still better than watching security monitors on which never anything happened.
The task was to stand guard and cover the Lieutanant's back while he inspected a merchant freighter which had unexpectedly turned up at the station. Alexa wondered what this guy was up to, cruising space several weeks away from the next human settlement. But hadn't that been the tagline on the recruitment flyer?
"Go to interesting locations and meet fascinating people ... and maybe more..." Alexa supressed a sarcastic laugh as she and Lt. Eiselmann entered the docking bay. Consider a research station at the end of the known universe interesting and a space merchant without decent navigational and economic skills fascinating and you were about to have a good time... on the other hand...
You stand guard here, private! I'll check this merchant. Eiselmann said in a calm voice. He was a good commander with empathy for his soldiers though Alexa couldn't understand why he was on this faraway outpost instead of being in the middle of action on some rebel colony.
Eiselmann approached the captain and started to inspect the cargo manifest, asking him a couple of questions. Alexa noticed that the merchant by the name of Rex Lionheart (either his parents had had a definite liking for British history or he was considering it cool to call himself like that...) was trying to be on good terms with Eiselmann by chatting about star fighters. He turned to her and made a remark about spider ships fitting almost anywhere. She didn't find this plump approach charming in the least but nevertheless blushed a little. Four month of duty on a space station had left her with certain unfulfilled needs and fantasies. Something had to be done about this soon...
