Annika's Islands Ch. 01 is up! It's my first submission and I ask that you be gentle... Or rough. However you like it 
The series is and will continue to be submitted under Incest/Taboo, and it is told entirely in the first person by both the main characters - Darian and Annika Black. (I lovingly took the name of the former for use as my pen name ^^) The two are brother and sister, and get into a series of interesting adventures leading them through hell and back.
Set just slightly in the future, this story starts out rather strongly with disaster striking from the onset - the vacation the two of them were taking ends rather dramatically with their plane going down in the middle of the Pacific ocean.
While they both struggle to survive, Annika struggles with her feelings towards her older brother... feelings she's had for a long time, but have never been returned. Darian, on the other hand, struggles with issues of his own...
It will be a long story, always separated into chapters and the entirety of the massive first "book" has been drafted. We're talking about 25-30 chapters of around ten thousand words each (when completed). Plans for book 2 and 3 have already been made as well, should the series prove to be popular...
I'll be submitting two chapters a month until it's finished and you're left with that warm fuzzy feeling inside. I hate not seeing a story to the end

Now that the plug is out of the way, I'd love your feedback on this! This is only slightly edited... I was sort of in-between editors at the time but future submissions will be (nearly) professionally edited ^_^' I don't think this version is too bad, though, but you be the judge.
In addition to your feedback, I'm also looking for Beta readers! Like commenting on stories after you read them? Because that's all you need to become a beta reader! Being a beta reader for my stories comes with some perks, too:
1) You get to read the chapters before nearly anyone else.
2) Your input may directly influence current and future chapters.
3) Should you influence them, you'll be credited in the story (naturally)
4) I'll beta-read your stories too! (at your request)
5) A first look at any other stories I may submit I've been writing for a long time as a hobby... My collection is approaching "Massive" and it's all unique and has never been read.
There are also some cons...
1) This will cost you massive amounts of money. Or rather, your therapist will, as you'll need them after you try reading through my first drafts. (I could be exaggerating a little)
2) I may very well NOT take your advice... which could be a problem for some.
3) You probably can never make me upset... I take constructive criticism very well.
4) There will be a time-limit on your reply. (Technically. The time-limit is only if you wish to influence the story... if you just want to comment you're free to do so at your leisure.)
Please, enjoy my first story. Comment however you like, but please vote honestly! If you're interested in becoming a beta-reader, PM me! It couldn't hurt to add a comment on chapter 1 in the PM, either
