What if you like pain during sex, but not the rest of the time?

What are your best first aid hints that you aren't likely to find in a red-cross manual under 'after a hardcore BDSM scene'?

PS, I hope I posted this in the right forum.

I think it's in the right place, and as for us ...

Ice to minimize bruising and swelling, clean the cuts and for crying out loud, do not take a hot shower right after, lol ... that's how you make the marks darker for most people ... beyond that, no ideas for ya, sorry.

Thanks.

Keep em coming...

PS, my labia is curently very swollen. Will preperation H work and is it safe to use there (externally)?

TY.

good thought - I'd try just a little and see. it is designed to work on sensitive skin, so I would think that it would work ... but I don't know for sure.

homeopathic remedies work well for bruising and soreness.
arnica cream or tablets, calendula cream and tablets. Those are just two i can think of offhand. Tablets can actually be taken before hand to lessen bruising if thats what you re wanting. When taken after it speeds up the healing as does the cream. There are some warnings that come with the tablets, you can check online to see what they are...there are tons of sites that give detailed explanations on how these things work and the pros and cons of using them.

Hmm... maybe you should share those with the guy who feels guilty about all the marks that he left on his partner kc

check out Richard49's website for herbal first aide cremes and stuff. (it's in his sig line) I don't know what he's got for trauma type stuff, but the stuff he recommended for chicken pox blisters was outstanding..

Hmmm do you like leaving the bruises?

If so, arnica does reduce the bruising quite quickly which does spoil it if you like to look at them later.

rope burns do well with wrapped ice-packs, but I find that if i leave them on too long I end up with joints.

Have fun & enjoy.

Avoid taking asprin for pain relief, it's a blood thinner and will make cuts & bruises worse

I've read somewhere that during aftercare, to keep a bottle of lotion/aloevera handy for a refreshing/conditioning rub down of the skin and to help keep it supple and all.

as for soreness after sex, I've enjoyed a nice long gentle oral session later that day or night, hell.. even almost directly after. Most of the time with that, I don't mind not getting off... its just so soft and nice to be taken care of :rose:

Any moisturizer with vitamin E in it makes bites go away a bit faster...if that's what you want ;)

I would suggest Tucks Pads (externally only) to reduce the swelling and anal ease or something similar to reduce any internal pain or swelling.

I know sometimes if it's been awhile for me I'll get very sore and puffy afterward. I usually take a bath with epsom salts, let everything air dry and then apply whatever I need to the area.

Things to avoid are drying with a towel (abrasion) and excessive wiping (also abrasion) as these will only irritate the areas and cause even more swelling and soreness.
