Do any of your have this new feature from Firefox?

It came with the latest update.

If you go to a story on Lit, there's an icon near the refresh button on the browser, which is shaped like an open book.

It makes the whole screen bigger, and you can adjust the background color and font size. Very cool feature.

I'm still hoping Lit would do something similar someday, if possible at all. Allowing readers to customize their experience is a huge plus.

Cool!

Chrome has an extension that does the same thing. Been out for awhile now.

I got the notification today after Firefox updated.

I use Firefox on my laptop and Chrome on my tablet and smart phone. I find Chrome to be a PITA on my laptop and Firefox to be a PITA on my smartphone and tablet.

With Chrome it's always there, no matter the page type.

Don't like a white background behind you porn, click it, chose whatever color you want.:devil:

It's called Change Colors - Change pages styling according to the user's preferences. It's available in the Google Store. It's free.

I think it came about due to the new FF integration of Pocket into the browser. If you use Pocket, another nice thing is that it will save the entire story to your pocket account for multipage stories without you having to save each page individually. It won't do that by clicking the book icon noted by the OP. But if you save to your pocket and go to the app or web page for it, the entire story is there. Nice for reading later.
