Fire Side Dancer

Rahn had to smile happily as Tora kissed him once more. Then he got up after her. She grabbed the dishes so he dealt with the fire. He extinguished it so no one could find them because of it. He came up next to Tora by the tent and wrapped his arms around her. Bringing her into the tent he kissed her softly. After the tent flaps were closed he settled down onto the bed mat and pulled her down with him. He lay next to her and spoke softly into her ear. "I love you Tora. I am so happy that I have you. And even under these circumstances I am happy to be here with you, on our own for a night together for the first time ever."

Following Rahn into the tent as he held her in his arms, she returned his kiss as the flaps of the tent closed. Kneeling down and then laying down with him beside her. Closing her eyes as he spoke in her ear his breath tickling her ear as it brushed over it. “I love you too Rahn. I am happy that you offered to come with me on this ride.” She turned on her side and wrapped her arms around him and cuddled close to him. She kissed him gently on the lips and gently rubbed her nose against his. “Alone,” she whispered smiling at him. Tora wanted to take advantage of there time alone but her eyes were starting to close and she couldn’t help but yawn again.

Rahn smiled softly as he relaxed with Tora. He was happy as well that he had jumped in to be the one to go with her. When she turned to face him he held her close. He returned her soft kiss. He had the same idea in mind as she did. He wanted the same thing, but he knew that it was too late that night and they had a long ride ahead of them. After her yawn he knew that they were both too tired as well. He kissed her once more and spoke softly again. "Don't worry, we have a few more days alone still. We will have the opportunity for some more intimate moments. For now let's just get some sleep." With one more kiss he got settled in and let himself drift off to sleep.

Though she knew she was too tired to do anything Tora couldn’t help but feel a little disappointed when he kissed her telling her not to worry they still had a few more days. Yet she knew he was right and they needed there sleep. “Later then,” she sighed as he seemed to settle in to sleep and she wasn’t far behind him. Sleep soon caught her and dreamed of the time her and Rahn would spend together, by themselves and with the others when they met back up with them at the market. She hoped that they had gotten to the market safely. Curling tighter in against Rahn, Tora continued to sleep, liking the presence beside her that she was partly aware of as she slept.

Rahn fell asleep quickly. As he slept he held Tora close. His dreams were filled with images of their future. The many nights that they would be spending together. It helped him really rest well. In the morning he woke very happy. He leaned his head in close and softly kissed Tora a few times. His hands caressed her softly. He wanted her to wake, but also didn't. The longer she slept the longer they could just lay there together.

Tora partly felt Rahn kiss’s but they weren’t enough to bring out of her sleep that she was enjoying. Slowly as she started to wake up a little to his soft touches. “Mmmmm that feels nice,” she whispered when she was awake enough she slowly open her eyes. Looking up at him she brushed her hair out of her eyes and smiled at him lazily, before closing her eyes again. “Good Morning Rahn,” she whispered she didn’t want to get up yet.

Rahn eventually saw Tora was waking up. He kissed her more and smiled down at her as she spoke. She opened her eyes for a moment and he gazed into them. When they closed again he just held her close. "Good morning Tora." His hands started moving over her body more. His lips brushed over hers and then he started kissing her along her neck and shoulders, kissing her everywhere he could.

A smile crept over Tora’s face as Rahn’s kisses started to move along her neck and shoulders. Slowly she partly opened her eyes and looked down at him as he kissed her. Bringing her hands up, she ran one of her hands up his side. The other she brought up to his face and gently stroked his cheek. “Did you sleep well my love,” she whispered to him. Her hand moving from his cheek to his hair she stroked it.

Rahn continued to kiss Tora as he felt her hands on him. When she asked if he had slept well he kissed up to her ear and spoke softly. "Yes, I had the best sleep of my life. I hope you had a nice sleep as well." He smiled and simply held her for a little while, enjoying the feeling of her being close. He knew that they should get going to the village to warn them, but he also didn't want to move from that spot with Tora.

Slowly Tora nod, then whispered “I had a very good sleep.” Happy she was as they lay there longer but she knew that it wouldn’t last. Eventually she sighed and opened her eyes fully and looked a Rahn. “We are going to have to get moving again soon?” she asked him. He didn’t need to answer her because she knew that if they moved as soon as possible there village would be safer and they could be on there way back to the others. “I will organise something to eat so that we can eat and ride as we head to the village.”

Rahn enjoyed the time with Tora. When she opened her eyes once more he smiled at her. Then she asked about going. He simply sighed and nodded. They did have to go.She said she would get food ready. He knew his job was the tent. He got up and slowly exited the tent. He looked around and saw that it was a nice day. The horses were over by the stream having a drink. He smiled and then turned to start packing up their things.

Tora followed Rahn out of the tent and smiled as she looked around them. Sparing a glance at the horses she set to organising some of the dry food they had taken with them. Once she had that organised and packed everything back up that she had used, she headed to the horses and set about giving then something to eat as well. “Nearly home, Dancer,” she whispered to the horse as she stroked her neck. “Once there we can take it a lot slower in joining the others, but only when we have warned the village and made sure they are safe.” Resting her head against the horse’s neck she sighed.

Rahn worked packing everything up and then went and started to load up the horses. As Tora spoke he simply nodded. she was right. They would need to go fast, especially to make up for their wasted time just laying around. Once the horses were packed he went over to the food and picked up what Tora had laid out. He took some over to her and then got his. He ate quickly as he looked around and made sure they they had not forgotten anything. When he was ready to go he went over to Tora. He kissed her softly and then smiled. "Ok, let's get going." He went over to rain and hopped up onto his back. Once Tora and Dancer were ready he started off down the trail at a fairly quick pace, but not a run. He wanted the horses to have a chance to warm up first.

Tora took the food Rahn gave to her and eat it as she finishes seeing to the horses. She was waiting by the horses for Rahn when he approached her. Returning his kiss and smile she nodded and then climbed onto Dancer’s back. Following behind Rain and Rahn she kept to the same pace as him. They kept at this pace for awhile until the horses had warmed up enough to run and soon they were flying. The closer they got to the village Tora couldn’t help but urge Dancer faster, Dancer seemed to understand they were drawing closer to home and willingly moved faster. Tora’s hair flew out behind her as they rode she was aware that Rahn and Rain where behind them but the call of home was all the rider and horse were interested in.

Rahn took the lead for the first little while. the closer they got to the village the faster Tora went. He smiled and kept up with her. She didn't even seem to notice him any more. He didn't know what was going on with her, but he figured it had something to do with being near home after being away. He just kept Rain right behind her. After a while they got onto a straight part of the path. It led them right to the village. It wasn't long before they could see the tents in the distance. Rahn got Rain going into a full sprint so they could get there as soon as possible.

The closer they got to the village the faster Tora’s heart beat, she was so focused on getting to the village she was only partly aware of Rahn. In the back of her mind all Tora wanted to see was the tents of the village that would ease one worry that held her heart, squeezing it not letting it go until she saw what she needed to see to loosen the grip. Then the tents of the village came into view and she nearly called out in joy as she rode towards them. Relief rushed through her and she turned her head and looked back at Rahn, her face glowing with happiness. “They haven’t come this way, the village its okay,” she called to Rahn.

Rahn was right behind Tora. He saw the village just as she did. Even so it was a relief when she said that it was safe. It meant she saw the same thing he did. It made him happy that they had made it and could warn the elders. He slowed Rain down once they got past the first tents. It took a few minutes, but they were soon in front of the elders who seemed surprised to see Rahn and Tora there. Rahn hopped off of Rain, but let Tora tell them what they had seen and encountered, as well as the possible danger. He added things in only when needed.

Tora didn’t slow Dancer down until she came to the first tents, she knew that it would only cause panic road in like they were fleeing some wild animal. She noticed that as they made their way to the elders tent that they were drawing some attention, Tora could guess what most were thinking they knew that they had left a couple of days ago for the market so why would they be back now and only just the two of them. But Tora didn’t plan on stopping until she had spoken to the elders. Once in front of the elders she slipped from Dancers back and greeted them before she told them what had happened and what they had seen. Once Tora had finished her story she watched as the elders stood together and talked, she moved closer to Rahn and slipped her hand into his. They had completed their task and warned the village once the elders had made a decision on what they wanted to do then Tora and Rahn could head back to join the others. One of the elders turned away from the others and looked at the two of them. “Do you plan on returning to your family or will you stay here?” she asked. Tora looked to Rahn and then back to the elder, “We had planned to join my brothers at the market but we would need to give the horses a rest before we set off again.”

After they had explained everything to the elders Rahn was ready to relax for a little while. They could have lunch together and rest the horses and get back on the road in the afternoon. They were no longer in any real rush. He nodded in agreement with Tora's statement to the elders. Then he gave a slight bow. "We will go now and rest the horses and ourselves. After some lunch we will leave again and return to the others to let them know that we got here in time to warn you. Before we go, do you think there will be anything the village might need from the market to help defend against whatever it is that might be attacking? A rider could be hired at the market and sent with anything you might need." Rahn didn't know what the elders might have in mind for the defense but he would like to help but also wanted to enjoy his time away with Tora as much as he could.

The elders looked to each other at Rahn’s request, “There is still much we must discuss first,” one said and the elder standing before Tora and Rahn nodded her head. “You say you will rest and then eat, go have your rest and your food. We will discuss what actions we will take to protect the village and then come to you before you leave the village if there is anything we need of the two of you.” The elder smiled and then turned to the other elders and started talking. Tora took this as there sign to go rest, squeeze Rahn’s hand she slipped her other hand through Dancer’s reins and started towards the stables where the horses could rest and maybe they could find somewhere to rest as well, possible in the stable area away from questioning eyes.

Rahn nodded in response to the elders. He really hoped they would be allowed to just return to the others without any hassles. He was glad they had been able to warn the village, but he wanted to have his time alone with Tora. He went with her and led Rain to the stables. It was mid day so almost everyone was busy working. The stables were empty and most of the horses were even gone. They got the horses over to some food and some water, then Rahn led Tora over to one of the corners where they could relax and hopefully be alone. He sat down and pulled her down into his arms. With a bit of a grin he leaned in and kissed her happily.

Tora returned Rahn’s kiss eagerly. Finally they had sometime to themselves. Through the ride they had been in a hurry and then even with the short moment that morning in the tent and before they had headed to bed, it had only been short moments because of there task. Now no one was asking anything of them and no one was watching them so they could have there time together. “I am glad we are finally here I was so worried. Now that I see everything is okay I am happy to just relax here in your arms,” Tora told Rahn smiling at him. Taking his face in between her hands she looked into his eyes before kissing him deeply.

Rahn relaxed and smiled up at Tora softly. She said she was happy to relax in his arms, but very soon she was kissing him deeply. He returned it with love and passion. When eventually the kiss broke again he looked into her beautiful eyes and grinned a little. "Well if that is your idea of relaxing, I like it. I'd like to see what you consider being active." He gave a small chuckle and then kissed her again. His arms wrapped around her, holding her body close to his.

Tora laughed softly at Rahn’s comment. “Well’s there’s relaxing and then there is relaxing with you,” she whispers to him after he kisses her again. “As for being active, I consider a walk through the trees or a ride through them and then a swim in the stream that’s being active,” then she smiles her cheeks going red. “Also there are the really private times together when we make love, that is active,” Tora says kissing Rahn gently.

Rahn smiled at her first comment, then nodded as she said what she considered being active. Then she blushed and he smirked a little. She mentioned making love and he smiled again. He returned her kiss and rested his forehead agaisnt hers. He spoke softly with a smile. "If you ever want to be active you just have to tell me. I'd be happy to be active with you any time." He put emphasis on the word active each time he said it. Then he pulled her in even closer and kissed her deeply.
