Fire Side Dancer

Rahn smiled at her and her comment. His eyes did not leave Tora's, even as Sol spoke. He returned Tora's kiss and then let her go with Sol to start working on their horses. He returned to Rain and set up the platform quickly. He loaded it with more finished platforms and supplies to make more. Once he was finished, he was ready to go, so he decided to help Tora and Sol. He snuck up behind Tora and wrapped his arms around her. He leaned over her shoulder and kissed her cheek. He smiled. "So, how can I help you two get these horses ready?"

 

[Angeltears]

Dancer was ready with her saddle on and feed bags tied to the strapped to her sides, Tora was working on getting Ash’s horse when she felt arms wrap around her. Jumping slightly she frowned slightly as she felt Rahn kiss her cheek. Shaking her head, she smiled when he asked how he could help. “If you want you could get Tan’s horse ready for me then we will be done,” she asked him glancing over at Sol who was onto Lia’s horse.

When they were all finished and all the horses were ready she climbed up onto Dancers back and smiled at both Rahn and Sol. Hooking up Tan’s horse to her own saddle she picked up Ash’s horses reins. “Shall we see how the others are going and get the rest of the things onto the horses.” With that said Tora nudged Dancer with her foot and started out of the stables with the two horses heading around the outter edge of the tent village until she got close to where there tents had been.

Rahn smiled at Tora and nodded. He went about getting Tan's horse ready and finished quickly. He hopped onto Rain's back and follwed behind the rest of the group to make sure the trailing horses did as they were supposed to. He was very glad they were about to leave. He would enjoy the time with Tora away from the village.

They got to the tents that had been packed up already and Rahn hopped down off of Rain. He went and helped everyone get their things packed onto the horses and onto platforms so the horses did not have as much directly on their backs. Once everything was ready to go, he went over to Tora and took hold of her hand. He smiled at her and leaned in to kiss her softly. He told her without words that he was happy they would be able to spend time together on the trip. He also told her again that he loved her.

Once they reached the other Tora slipped off Dancer and started helping the others. With so many people working it did not take them long to have the horses ready. Tora had just finished checking Dancers when she turned and saw Rahn coming towards her. Smiling as he took her hand she returned his kiss. She knew this trip would be good for both of them and then hopefully when they got back everything would have settled down.

Sol turned to the his bothers, “I will go collect Lia and meet you on the outskirts of the cap.” With that Sol led both his and Lia’s horse away. “Come on you two,” Tan spoke up, “We should go see if Kara’s family are waiting on the outskirts.” Both brothers climbed onto there horses and Tora smiled at Rahn and gave him one more kiss before pulling away from him. “I love you,” she whispered to him and then turned and climbed onto Dancers back. As they road out to the waiting point Tora rode next to Rahn when she could.

Rahn looked over as Sol told them he'd meet them in a little after he got Lia. Then Tan tried to get Tora and Rahn moving. Rahn returned Tora's quick kiss before they moved apart. He held onto her hand as long as he could before letting it slip from his fingers. He then climbed onto Rain's back and got settled in the saddle. He followed behind Tan and next to Tora as much as he could. They were soon out where Kara's family was just arriving as well. A little way off, Rahn could see Sol on his way with Lia. He smiled. They were almost on their way. He had so many reasons to be excited. He stopped Rain right next to Dancer. He then just waited for the journey to start.

At the meeting place Tora smiled as she saw Kara and her family arriving Kara too. Raising her hand she waved to Kara who returned the wave before covering a yawn. Tora laughed and then see watched as Rahn came up along side her. One he stopped next o her she reach between them and took his hand squeezing it gently. Tora was ready to get moving and from the look of the others they were too. Sol and Lia didn’t take long to join them and Tan who was talking to Kara’s father smiled and nodded his head as his brother arrived. Kara’s father looked at them all and then turned his horse and started heading away from the village. Many other families would make this trip to market to get all they need and to sell what they could. Tora and her brothers had made this trip a couple of times with other family or with Kara’s family, but as most of there family lived in other villages then they choose to make the journey with Kara’s family. Letting go of Rahn’s hand Tora smiled at him and then urged Dancer forward to follow the others.

Rahn waited, holding Tora's hand. He watched all that happened and then saw the lead horse start to go away from the village. He smiled at Tora and let her hand go. He then started Rain following along with all the others. The trip started down a path where they could only go two wide. Rahn rode alongside Tora, smiling over at her every few minutes. He was very glad to be with her and going on the trip finally. He had waited for what seemed like a long time.

They rode for most of the morning Tora riding next to Rahn when ever she could. The sun had risen high by the time that Kara’s dad called a stop. All reined in there horses by a patch of trees and every one set about watering horses and themselves and then Kara’s mother set about handing out food that she had packed for the trip. Thanking her for the food Tora walked away slightly from the group streatching her legs and back as she nibbled on what she had been given.

When they stopped, Rahn got down from Rain and led him to the water. He removed some of the things to lessen the load for a while. Once the horse was set to rest, he went and got some food from Kara's mother. He thanked her and saw Tora a little bit away from everyone else. He ate as he walked over in her direction. He stopped next to her and smiled, blowing her a kiss from only a few feet away. He grinned and looked into her eyes. He continued to eat and look at her while standing there without saying anything.

Tora was humming as she ate just liking the fact she could move around. Turning in her wonderings she sees Rahn join her and she smiles. She continued to hum and then smiled at him as he blew a kiss at her. Touching her cheek as if she had got it and her smile brightened. It felt good that they didn’t need to say anything and that they could just stand there looking at each other. Soon she was finished what she was eating and before heading back to the others she smiled at him and headed in amongst the small patch of trees just out of sight of the others humming the entire time.

Rahn finished eating his food soon after Tora. He simply stood there and watched her walk off into the trees. He could still hear her humming softly. He waited for a minute and then moved quickly toward the trees where Tora had gone. When he found her there, he moved in close and took her into his arms. He stayed silent and just looked into her eyes. He loved feeling her close. The moment was perfect. The environment was peacefull, calm, and private. Rahn could just enjoy the company of the girl he loved more than anything.

Tora knew he would follow her and stopped not that far into the trees. When he found her she stopped humming and smiled at him as he took her in his arms. Wrapping her arms around his waist she returned his look smiling almost dreamily. She didn’t speak either just enjoying the moment as she knew that they would have to leave and join the others soon as this was only a short stop. Closing her eyes she rested her head on his shoulder, taking in his smell and his bodies’ warmth.

Rahn felt Tora's arms wrap around his body. He smiled at her more. When she rested her head on his shoulder, he held her closer. He nuzzled his head into her neck. He started to softly kiss her neck and shoulder. His hands moved up and down her back, softly caressing. He really enjoyed being so close to her and having the private time.

How do I become a fire dancer?

I love fire. It fascinates me. I need it just to get through the day and I want to learn how become a fire dancer to feel more connected with it and the culture the fire dance comes from. I know you're supposed to find an experienced fire dancer and learn from them, but that's out of the question because I can't find any. Is there any way I can either teach myself or find a class or something in my area? Thank you SO Much!!!!!!!!!!!

Closing her eyes as Rahn kissed her and caressed her back, she enjoyed this time together and then reluctantly she pulled back. Looking into his eyes she smiled and kissed him. “We had better get back to the others before they come looking,” Tora whispered speaking for the first time. Then kissing him once more she slipped from his arms and headed back to the others. Slipping from the trees she saw checked to see if any one was watching. When she was sure every ones attention was else were she headed towards Dancer to prepare her for next part of there ride.

When Tora pulled back, Rahn was a little dissapointed. When she smiled and kissed him, he was happier. He returned her kiss. He nodded in agreement to what she said. They really should get back to the others. He enjoyed the last kiss as much as possible, then let her go. He watched her go to Dancer and then waited a little bit before making his way to Rain. He made sure the horse was ready to go.

Nobody seemed to notice either of us returning to the resting spot and when Kara’s father started telling everyone that it was time to move, we were already nearly ready to go. The next part of the trip was longer and over more open land, so Tora would ride next to Rahn, talking to him as they rode. Sometimes Kara would join them riding on the other side of Tora from Rahn. Other times it was Ash that would join them and on the rare occasion it would be Tan. The day went fast and they stopped around midday to eat and then were back on the horses until just before sun set, when Kara’s father called halt for the night. And they set up a small camp, consisting of only a few tents.

Rhan enjoyed the rest of the day spent riding and talking with Tora. They spoke with some others on thier journey. At lunch, he had a nice rest with Tora. When they made their camp, Rahn set up his tent next to the one Tora would be in. He decided that they should sleep as close together as possible. He even whispered to her that they could reach under their tents and at least hold hands while they fell asleep. There was still dinner though. Rahn helped in any way he could to prepare the meal. Then as they ate, he sat with Tora happily.

It was decided that only one tent would be set up for the three girls and that Tora, Kara and Lia would sleep together. Her brothers would also share a tent. Tora helped in preparing dinner for the small group and as she worked she thought about what Rahn had said about holding hands under the tents and it made her smile and promising herself that she would have to make sure she got the side of the tent that was next to Rahn’s. When dinner was ready most of it was eaten in silence and Tora was happy to sit with Rahn. Once dinner was finished every one decided that they would all turn in to prepare for the second part of their journey tomorrow because they would move again at first light. Smiling at Rahn she wished him a good night and slipped into the tent they had set up for the girls. As she was the first on in she settled herself on the side that faced Rahn’s tent. Waiting until all was quiet outside the tents and the two other girls were asleep, Tora then slipped her hand under the side of the tent and waited to see if Rahn did the same.

Rahn enjoyed eating dinner with Tora. He was really loving the time they were able to spend together. After dinner everyone decided to go to bed. Rahn kissed Tora goodnight and then went into his tent. Since he tent was fairly small, he had it to himself. He set up his mat next to where Tora would be. He readied himself for bed and then lay down. He lifted the edge of his tent and saw Tora's arm reaching under the side of her tent.

He smiled happily and lay down on his front so he could reach both arms out. He took hold of her hand with both of his. He held it for a little while. He suddenly got an idea and turned her hand and opened it so it was palm up. He held it like that with one hand and used his other hand to start tracing out letters on her palm. He did it slowly and clearly so she could understand each one. He sent her the simple message "I LOVE YOU" He smiled and wondered what she would think of it, even if he would not hear about it until the morning. He just hoped she had been awake for it.

Tora worried that maybe he had been too tired and had fallen asleep if he had it wouldn’t have been such a bad thing she quickly thought to herself what would happen if someone walked past and saw her hand like this. How would she explain that? But Tora stopped worrying when she felt Rahn’s hands take hers in between both of his. Tora smiled to herself and pictured how Rahn must be laying to have both hands how he did.

As they held hands Tora started to drift until she felt him move her hand. Curious to what he was doing she woke herself up more and focused on the feel of his finger move over the palm of her hand. It took her only a couple of seconds to realize what he had written on her hand and she smiled into the tent side. She would have written back but if she moved around too much Kara who was a sleep next to her might wake up. So instead she turned her hand around and squeezed his gently to let him know she understood and felt the same. Closing her eyes she felt herself slowly start to fall asleep and she held his hand tight until she fell asleep as her hand loosened on his.

Rahn smiled as he felt Tora squeeze his hand. He held her hand with just one and turned to lay on his back. He pulled the blankets over himself and slowly drifted off to sleep happily. Eventually their grips loosened and there was just a pair of hands, one on top of the other, sitting in between the two tents, arms retreating into each one.

Rahn had a good sleep there. He had some very nice dreams, most involving Tora and their future together. When he woke, it was with a smile on his face. He lay in bed for a while and relaxed. A little later he got up and dressed for the day. He quickly packed his things inside his tent and went outside. He stood up and stretched. With a yawn he looked around. It was still fairly quiet. He looked over to see that the sun had only come up a short while ago. He smiled and sat down, relaxing and waiting for Tora to emerge from her tent.

Tora slept well for the night she dreaming of Rahn and the fun they would have at the market and when things settle down and they can come out and tell the truth about the two of them. A sharp jab to the side woke Tora up and she grumbled and looked at Kara who was still asleep but must have twisted in her sleep. Tora saw that Lia on her other side was stirring. Peeking out of the tent she sees that it is starting to get light outside. Giving Kara a gently shove she rolls over and stays asleep. Lia opens her eyes and looks at Toa before sitting up, “Is it morning.” Tora nodded and then pulled back the blanket and rose heading out of the tent.

Stretching she rubbed her side where Kara had jabbed her, she must have used her elbow Tora thought to herself as she looked around. Seeing Rahn she smiled at him and headed over to him. “Good morning?” she said and sat down next to him giving him a hug and then kissing him. Lia soon followed Tora out of the tent.

Rahn smiled as he saw Tora emerge from her tent. He watched her stretch before noticing him. He wrapped an arm around her as she sat next to him. He hugged her and smiled. As she kissed him he returned it with his love for her spoken through the kiss. When he pulled back he kept his head close to hers and let her know how happy he was with a smile. He didn't notice anyone else, just Tora. "Good morning. I hope you had a nice sleep."

Returning his smile, “I had a good sleep, it was the waking up part that was a little annoying. Kara rolled over I think and she jabbed me in the side with her elbow.” Tora rubbed at her side, it didn’t hurt any more but did feel a little tender. Tora yawn and snuggled closer to Rahn she was so tempted to go back to sleep sitting here with him but as she looked around she noticed that the others were starting to wake up around them.
