Finding Long Lost Friends

and how come you can always find the people that you hated? Its like they are out there.... spreading their name and shit all over the net.... just to let you know they are there.

and yet the people you actually want to find are nowhere to be found.

It's hard, but not impossible...

I have only been online for about a year, and in that time I have reconnected with a very dear friend. He was my then husband's best friend and I lost contact with him when I moved to Colorado. Twelve years (and a divorce) later he answers a personal ad that I had on Yahoo (he didn't know it was me, talk about freaky).

Since then we have become very good friends and casual sex buddies, which 12 years ago we both wanted but were unable to have. I value his friendship and his opinions, and I truly don't know what I would do without him. He even gets along great with my husband (who knows everything), but he hasn't met my Master.

I just started thinking, this might make a great story ~running to get paper to make notes~

I wish I could find some old friends. I usually try to hold onto em. I hate having freinds leave my life.

I searched around for one for a year and just recently got a hold of her. it was great. Some others from back in high school i know ill probably want to try and get a hold of someday as well.

Finding Peeps

Here on the net there are many ways of finding people we previously lost touch with and thought we had lost forever, just last week I helped my friend find her dad who she hadn't seen in sixteen years it took five minutes to locate him, she had been trying other methods for the last eight years.

Americans have many resources to hand to undertake this sort of problem while it is harder for us Brits to find peeps, I only know of one British site. Just doing a search in your favorite search engine should bring up many sites that can help you (it will also bring up a load of rubbish as well, intended to fleece you of your hard earned cash).

Here are a few sites that I can think of off the top of my head, I hope they help in some way, these are not the only ones out there, try different ones and one day you might get lucky, just don't give up.
