You may be joking, ut I knew someone who did exactly that, years ago.

An alley ran behind his backyard. He built a little shed on either side of his wooden fence, and cut a glory hole through. He installed a doorbell of some kind and advertised on gay message boards.

I agree that glory holes are Russian roulette...but with three chambers loaded. It's a total gamble with every STD you can think of, and if it's done behind the wife's back then it's gambling with her health too. Glory holes, while a nice fantasy, are really not safe and generally a bad idea.
