Do they take fiction or just poetry? I looked at Renaissance Books, and I was definitely NOT impressed with the excerpts they offered there and the cover art was cheesy.

Just poetry as far as I know. They have several collections out already. The one I will be published in is coming out in the spring.

Try http://www.writersofthefuture.com for fantasy or science fiction type genres. Also http://www.lemon-press.com I think. A friend of mine is published there, but I don't know how they work.
