I got to see a stunning alternative ending last night. Phil Leotardo doesn't die; instead, he slips out of Tony's grasp and sends a hit on Tony. On a frigid December road, with snow falling, Tony sees the car approach his and sees the guns; with seconds to spare he swerves down a narrow side-road and avoids it. He looks back, swearing, to see the car turning back for another run - and in his distraction Tony runs straight down the boat ramp the road leads to and into an icy lake. As the car sinks into the darkening water, he sees a faint white outline in the lake and realizes it's the same lake that he and his group sank someone else into, car and all. Lights out for Tony as Phil's men step from their car and watch him sink, pounding at the windshield.

I have the best dreams. :D

Carmela got hers too - rubbed out by Phil as she frantically tried to sell her car to raise cash to flee with.

Not bad. Not bad at all. :) Do the kids take over and avenge their parents and continue the series?
