I really liked this one. The flashbacks were done quite well, which I was impressed with. They could very easily have been heavy handed. I liked how they all culminated with the present action. The reason it works is probably due to the changing POV. I was amused by the mom's reaction, very endearing. In all, the story was a lot more romantic than I've come to expect from this category and it was a good read.
