Drake A woke In Small room. He had no Idea Where he was. He hered the voice of Ramuh in his head "Controll Your emotins or they will Controll You." He shook it of as remints Of is Dreams. He gotUp And walked to the door And looked out In to the hall. He saw Geri in the hall.

 

[Cryo]

OOC; actually, it was just me in the equipment shop. Shana is still with Ethan, who are following me behind a little ways.

IC; "Do you think it can wait a little bit?" Kayla asked. "We are kinda in the middle of something that can't wait" Kayla didn't know this strange girl, and didn't want to find out. He was wasting precious time as it was.

 

[Capri]

OOC: oops my bad, I meant to write ethan really. But this actually works out better.

IC:

"Sorry to disturb you, i guess i'll be on my way" Capri said, as she looked down at her feet, a little embarrassed at the way she approached the man.

As she went to turn and leave, Kayla noticed something about this girl... It was what she was wearing around her neck. The small crystal, it was glowing very bright at this moment.

"Wait" Kayla said, slightly grabbing Capri's arm. "What is that"

"I dont know really" Capri answered and continued to turn away.

The light somewhat intrigued Kayla, and his other thoughts paused for a moment as he looked closely at the girl, where had he met her before?

"What was it you asked again?" Said Kayla.

"I wanted to know the name of this place, i'm not really from around here. I'm Capri."

Kayla was at a loss for words. Not from physical attraction, although the girl was pretty no doubt, it was something else that was drawing Kayla's attention to her... He just couldn't quite place it.

 

[Cryo]

Kayla thought for a moment.

OOC; DAMNIT now do you see what you've done? I'm in a hurry to get to the ice caves, but I'm also in a longstanding quest to discover my past. when you look familiar, it's a keyhole to my past, but I'm still in a hurry that I don't know if it takes priority. I can't tell you or ask you to come along, because you and I are just strangers. I don't have the time to pull you aside to question you thoroughly. You've put me in a lose lose everyone fucking loses situation and It doesn't compute. It does not compute. how can I hide in a corner in a round room? Ahhhhhhh, my head. Couldn't you have bothered Drake or something? he has the time for this kind of distraction. Uuug, I can't take this! I don't know how to respond, I can't waste the time to talk to you, I can't discard you and continue. I don't know how to respond. Dear god help me to escape from this mind killing predicament!!!. Oh no, there it goes, half of my usable brain. I hope your happy! I hope I managed to please you. I sure hope that this is what you desired because I'm about to collapse on my keyboard with a major brain hemrage. OOoooooohhhhhhhhh.........

Ethan

Ethan stood in the store admireing his new armor.

"Shana, Last night I had a dream. Ramuh told me that Kayla was to lead me on my quest and that there would be a man who challenged the leadership. Diablos apparently shapeshifted to look like Ramuh and convinced the man it was his destiny to lead us, but in reality he would only lead us to our deaths. We must back Kayla!"

Ethan couldn't forget his dream that Ramuh told him of the weapon of light inside him. How do you get a weapon from inside of yourself?

"Shana, teach me how to use the weapon Ramuh told me about.
We need to succeed. We need to live."

Ethan looked over at Kayla talking to a stranger and approached them.

"Kayla, who is your friend? She looks like a fierce warrior, and we do have another space open since Drake abandoned us. Why don't you invite her along?"

Ethan whispered in his ear.

"The two of you can get better aquainted"

ooc: I'm tryin ta help you out cryo!

Shana looked at Ethan wishing she could offer him a word of advice but before she could speak he left to see who Kayla's new friend was. Feeling an intense sense of jelousy over the girl who now looked at Ethan as he spoke struck her. She sighed, being in love was tough. She knew this girl had no interest in Ethan but it still upset her to see them talking. Shaking her head at her own silliness she approached the group.

 

[Capri]

OOC: HEY Cyro, why dont you relax.. I'm doing this for a reason. Things dont happen exactly how you plan in real life right? Well same with role playing. Roll with the punches

 

[Capri]

Capri looked to this new man who approached her. He looked extremely tired, but aside from that he was actually pretty polite.

"I'm Capri, and you are..?"

"Ethan, nice to meet you" Ethan smiled and then called Shana over. "This is Shana." He smiled as he looked into Shana's eyes. "Thats Kayla"

Capri gave a quick smile to Kayla. "i apologize for interupting anything, i really only wanted to know where i am. If you can tell me that, i'll be on my way"

Ethan didn't answer. "Whats that in your hand?" he said. It was the map he was looking at. He hadn't yet noticed the luminous crystal around her neck.

Kayla was getting frustrated and wanted to continue his journey, but Ethan insisted he take a look at Capri's map.

Capri handed it too them, and before she could even get a word in, Shana gasped and pointed to a location. Capri felt a spark jump inside of her when she realized that these people could help her.

 

[Cryo]

OOC; sorry guy's. and thanks. for the first time ever, IRL or no, I was thrown into a situation I couldn't decide upon. thanks for bearing with me.

IC; Kayla calmed down and looked around. Ethan had accepted him as leader, so he was set. He thought over his situation, and came to a rational thought. "Ok, you can come with us. Ethan does proove a good point. 4 fighters are better than three. Can you fight very well?" Since she was a member now, Kayla cold look at her stats. Not very good strength or defence, but her agility and intelligence were excellent. If magic existed, she would make a great mage! but her stats showed no magical skills, so she'll just have to work on her other stats. Perhaps she should take up a job class that utilizes that agility. Such as Thief or soemthing. But it's Capri's decision, and he'll ask her later.

Kayla glanced over at her map. Sure enough, there was the ice caves, northeast of the castle town they were presently in. Shana pointed out the city. Kayla had no idea what was what, seing as his memory was so lacking.

"Well," he started "Since your with us now, you might as well come along with us. We can get better aquainted on the road."

Ethan

Ethan saw something deep within Shana's eye's... He wished he could feel her emotion. From her reaction she treated Capri as some sort of threat, but of what kind? He loved her... and he would always fight by her side. As a sign of this he walked up behind her and put his arm around her hip. She looked at him with a more re-assured look.

"Where is that place on the map?"

Shana hesitated. Ethan looked towards Kayla.

"Kayla, I thought you should know that I had another vision. Ramuh told me your leadership would be challenged by another. We can't let them win under any circumstances."

Ethan thought Kayla would be a good leader, and he thought Kayla was re-assured through Ethans approval.

 

[Capri]

OCC: sorry for the disturbance cyro.. but you aren't the only one telling the story here. Leave room for others to join in aswell.


IC: Capri was extremely relieved when she was asked to join the group. Finally somewhere she could belong, or at least have the chance to.

She heard Ethan speak of the Ice Caves, but really knew nothing of what they were. All she knew was that it was the goal of this group, and that was fine with her. Cherish creeped over slowly, when realizing that these people meant no harm.

Capri grabbed a few items at the equipment store, and then they were all off. As they were walking, Capri felt some sort of tension between her and Kayla, but of course it was too soon to tell what the problem was.

Kayla asked Capri if she was any good at fighting, She said she was able to learn just about anything (which she thought to be a valuable quality), She continued to tell him of her interests in learning magic and healing powers, that seemed to have made him feel better, but who knows really. Capri let him walk off ahead and joined Ethan and Shana a few steps behind her..

"Thanks for letting me come along." She said. She wished Cherish had been a bit larger, so he could carry everyone. Instead, he just walked beside carrying the equipment, which at the moment pleased everyone enough. Funny, no one had really asked any questions yet. Neither she nor they. That would come later perhaps. The crystal grew colder.

 

[Lady_Siren]

Shana leaned against Ethan smiling at him. She loved the way his eyes darkened when he looked at her. And she loved the way he quirked him mouth in that hald smile. They all headed out of the gate. Shana stayed near Ethan wanting, needing to touch him in some way. Keeping her eyes out for enemies she began to wonder, who exactly was she and why were they going to the ice caves. Shaking her head she heard Ramuhs voice 'all will be revealed soon my child'

 

[AnimE]

Ethan

Ethan sensed Shana was begining to love him as she once had, and he had never stopped loving her. Everytime she looked at him all he could do was smile n total ecstasy. He finally had her back in his arms and this time he would never let go.

"Kayla? why are we going to the ice caves again? you said something about crystals? How many crystals are there exactly?"

With that Ethan looked down at his wrist where ramuh placed the 5 stones. If Kayla said 5 then Ethan would continue along, but if there were more or less, did that mean that Ethan would have to leave Shana again to fight the battle. So many things still didn't make sense to him, And holding Shana in his arms he didn't particualarly care.

 

[Cryo]

"Crystals? I don't know" Kayla said as they walked. They had reached the woods by then, and luckily the monsters outside the city were pretty low in level. "I know for sure about 2, the ice crystal in my chest, and the earth crystal We just recovered. I don't know what happened to that one though."

"In your chest?" Ethen asked, troubled.

Kayla explained the circimstances from which he obtained the ice crystal. Then he went into the stories he herd from his village. "There are tales of simmiler crystals in the past. The story goes, basically, that there are 5 elemental crystals of the world. Ice, fire, earth, air, and shadow. And that when the world is in danger, the crystals find hosts and empower them to save the world. Another story I heard was that the 5 crystals are evil, and that they created 5 warlords who threatened the world. There are a number of crystals stories that are related to this, but none of them are the same. There are only 2 things standard with all the stories. The elemental attributes of the 5, and a mysterious 6th crystal of light. Also, there's sometimes something about the 5 needed to summon, or banash the 6th, that all 5 are needed for the 6th. but that's still a mystery."

"When you barged in on us back there, you looked at me in fear and questioned why I was here, and said something about not being able to summon me. What did you mean?" Ethan asked.

Kayla looked at him strangely. "I don't know what your talking about. I came to see if Shana was ok, then drake showed up and all hell broke loose." Ethen was a little confuzed, but left it at that.

"What are you guy's talking about?" Capri asked, not understanding a word.

Kayla tried to explain it to her as best as he could.

Within a day, they arrived at the base of the mountain. Capri's map confirmed that they were in the right place, but there was nothing here that resembled a cave.

OOC; Since your a member of the party now, you have access to the inventory. The inventory consists of every item not equipped. No need to reach into a backpack. It's all allways there.

OOC Thanks

IC Capri listened as Shana told the her knowledge of the 5 crystals. Everything made a bit more sense, but there was still much that had to be learned.

They all reached the location on the maps, to find no caves whatsoever.

"It doesn't make sense. We followed the map perfectly." Said Capri. Everyone was frustrated. Ethan held Shana and rubbed his head with his hand. Kayla paced off by himself thinking...

Capri, looked at the area closely... This meant one of two things.. One, would be that the map is a decoy or some sort of trick. The other would be that maybe we aren't looking correctly... Capri tried to sort things out in her mind, She knew the ice caves were here, she felt them... So where were they? She examined the scripture but still couldn't make out the words.. Maybe the others knew how to interpret it.

 

[Lady_Siren]

OOC: Capri Kayla was the one that explained the crystals.. Shana doesn't know anything about them really.

IC: Shana frowned as she stared at the solid surface where the caves should be. Stepping forward she placed her hands on the surface and knocked slightly. Smiling she turned to her companions "It's hollow, that means the caves are here, not how we get in is another question" turning back to Ethan she wrapped her arm around his waist then looked at Kayla and Capri "Any ideas?"

 

[Cryo]

"Hmmm....." Kayla thought for a moment, coming up with nothing. He figured that in this kind of world, little things made the difference and it was him to find it. Ok, so let's see.

no discolorations, no cracks or seamlines, Nothing noticable in the trees, I wonder... "Abra Kadabra!" he held his hands out. "Uh..... open sesamea?" He looked like a complete idiot, which made his face turn red. Attempting to save at least a little sliver of his dignity, he put his arms behind him and cooly whistled while leaning against the rock.

FLASH


FHROOOOOOOOM

The solid rock wall somehow dissolved behind Kayla, sending him falling backwards onto a white floor, while a burst of cold air flowed outwards.

"How in the world did you do that?" asked Ethan. The shocked look on Kayla's face not only answered that question, but drew a giggle out of Capri.

 

[Lady_Raisa]

Geri walked away from the castle and hummed quietly to comfert herself. She soon came to the dark woods that were close to the castle . She gasped as she thought of the monsters that were lurking inside waiting for her. Feeling like she was being followed she turned around and saw that Drake was following her. Not stopping her pace she turned around and walked into the cold surrondings. Turning around she stopped for a second. "You can't stop me, I am going to see Mamma !"

Shana's eyes widened at the wall dissolved behind Kayla then he fell back. Hiding a smile behind her hand she stepped for cautiously looking into the cavern. "Wow" she touched the wall, it was ice alright. She looked back at everyone "Well what are we waiting for? Shall we?"
