I'm new here and have been reading much of what is said here and find it very informative and interesting. My question is : Are there any good BSSM movies out there that are not just garbage? Ones that are entertaining yet informative also? Any suggestions?

Thanks,
tr65

No.

But a good garbage movie is "Stan the Garbage man kills a man using a garbage can and then puts the body into the garbage truck, then pulls the lever to crush it. Then he makes a whole bunch of noise and wakes up the whole neighborhood. He then drives by giving the finger and yells 'First post!'"

I believe it was a Spielberg pic.

tr65: ignore sd, he just showed up today, and apparently just to act the fool.

You didn't specify--are you looking for mainstream narrative film, How To kinda stuff, or adult film? With a little more info, you'll be more likely to get the recommendations you're looking for.

And welcome to the Forum!

Just a bit of info...

BDSM films: In the United States, it's illegal to show bondage AND penetration in a movie.

You can have fuck films.

You can have bondage/whipping/etc films.

You cannot have a film in which someone is restrained by mechanical means (= not just a hand) AND is also being penetrated in any way by any object.

We are still so fucking puritannical here.

Hint: if you do a SEARCH on this forum and the words film or movie, you'll probably find some more info. I know we've discussed this subject once or twice here.

I had no idea about this - none. So I guess we are stuck with home movies.

Yes, it has been a fight by feminists to keep the degradation of women out of movies. I think the last of the bondage+fuck films in the U.S. were the very popular Ginger movies, staring Cheri Caffaro. There weren't that many of them, and they weren't that slick like movies are today. But, they were about Ginger, a secret agent who fights crime, but often got bound and tormented in the process. You can get them on the Internet. I think they now go for about $18 bucks each. If you like the 70s style of movies, they are a great buy.

I don't remember, but I don't think The Story of O had any bound entry scenes, either. It came out in the late 70s, 1978, I believe. But, it was a French production, if I remember correctly.

Anyway, such movies are taboo in the U.S. I am sure it would be possible to find web site to view, if anyone wants. I know I have seen it.

Bondage & Penetration

Odd thing is, I think I read somewhere that it's legal here in the US in still photographs, provided all the modeling and other consent agreements are all squared away. It's only movies that have a law slapped on 'em.

How screwed up is that?

I don't think this is true, or at least not all over the country. I was just wading through the Mother the other day to dig up some info for somebody, and I ran across the email responses cym received and posted when she needed to develop pictures from her time with MS. At least one, and I think two of the three adult picture sites she contacted specifically mentioned that there could be no penetration shown in pix where the person was bound enough to be incapacitated.

The following info is taken from page 7 in the Mother thread: http://www.literotica.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=39661
That said, i sent emails of inquiry to several businesses about the processing of this film. Here's the email i sent:
>Hello,
>
>I have a couple disposable cameras worth of pictures to be developed. The pictures are sexually graphic and contain consensual and completely legal pictures that are explicitly and edgily BDSM in nature. In other words, they're pictures of piercing, flogging, anal play, ect... and all of it between two consenting adults.
>
>Will you develop such pictures, put them onto a disc, and send them back to me?
>
>Thanks for considering my request,
>cym

I rec'd replies to every email i sent. A few of the replies told me reasons why they couldn't process my film. Three of the replies were standouts, and it is one of the three to whom i'll send the film (if my mother EVER gets it sent up here). The three best replies i got are:

Blondie's Photo Processing

Dear Cym,
We have not problems with with the type of pictures you have mentioned in you e-mail. We will not do beastility or photos of children (under the age of 18 ) These are both illegal. We do have a couple of other thing that we will not do like suffication...sometimes people do things for excitment that we just don't feel confortable duplicating in anyway, but the things
you mentions ...NO problem.

If you have any other questions, please let us know. We will look forward to doing business with you.

Photographic Impressions
http://photoimp.com/

Good morning,
We can process and print the film you speak of.

For your information:
There is one Federal law that we must follow in regards to BD/SM. If your images depict sexual penetration while both hands of the other person are bound in such a way that normal movement is restricted, then we can not develop such images.

Your choice of 3.5" floppy or CD along with your prints is ok with an additional charge of $10 per roll.
Thank you for your interest in our services.

Yolie's Digital Imaging & Photography
http://www.yolie.com/adult_film_processing.htm

Hello cym,
Processing your film is not a problem, been doing this for 15 years . . . for pricing please check out the order form on my website: www.yolie.com . . and also see the "Film Processing" page for pricing on scans to floppy or Cd.

Turnaround time is usually 3-5 days for completion. ( If you send a Check, there will be a delay in sending you the finished product for 1 1/2 weeks - to clear the check- (normal procedure). If you want to pay be visa or charge card, I will send you a copy of the transaction . . . and I am the only one who will process your card transaction.

If you have any concerns or other questions don't hesitate to give me a call M - F 10:30 - 4:30
There, is, apparently, a federal law prohibiting bound-and-penetrated photographs from being developed. It doesn't seem to be too stringently enforced (yet).

Just for your info, if you should need such info, i ended up sending my film to Blondie's, a couple of times, actually, and was eminently satisfied with the work they did with my pictures, some of which definitely violated that federal law, btw.

edited to add that all of the above info is from last summer. The last time i dealt with Blondie's was last fall. Things may have changed. Things often do.
