re: the recently discussed act of using ginger is special ways... we have seen it pronounced and spelled both ways... so what does the majority think/know? are there actually 2 versions of a similar act that are referred to differently - or just some morph of the word over time???

thank you. we heard as frigging first - so that is what we used to think - but didn't sound right. figging makes more sense. and apparently so does the majority and assumably those in the know

figging is the use of ginger root.
frigging is what the sex pistols did in the rigging.

The reason that you probably see it referred to as friggin is that the F and R keys are close together and some people don't type so well.
