No, this isn't a thread about what your fetishes might be (although it could be, once my initial questions have been answered.
).
It's about the Fetish category, here at Lit. Anyone written much in it? Had much experience of it?
I'm currently writing a spanking story and I'm not sure where to place it. My initial thoughts were BDSM, cos it is about a D/s relationship, but I didn't know whether or not stories purely about spanking would be better received in Fetish.
I'm trying not to include any actual sex in it (which is difficult, cos my characters always end up fucking, even if they've just gone for a coffee), although there is some "cummmmmmming" involved, and want to concentrate solely on the many delicious elements that go into an awesome spanking.
Anyone got any thoughts on this?
How widely read is the Fetish category?
What are the readers of Fetish like, with regard to feedback, etc?
I can easily make it just hardcore BDSM, and make it appeal to the readers of that category, but I wanna push my own proverbial envelope a bit and try to "specialise" my writing in this story.
Any smart-arsed comments will earn twenty strikes of my bare hand.
Cheers!
Lou
