I am looking for subtle ways to advertise my sub wife in public for the upcoming fetish fair in Boston in August. Looking for slut/whore/cum slave temporary tattoo's maybe even getting them customized. Also, looking for distinquishable jewelry: nipple enhancers, ankle bracelet, etc. Of course, being obvious is easy and, given the rules of the fair, could bring unwanted activity from the law. I am looking for something that only people in the know could recognize. Maybe, a collar that she can wear on formal occasions that wouldn't raise too many eyebrows. Thanks, SAM

Thinking outside the box..

Have you thought of a mehndi tattoo? Mehndi, or Henna is a way of temporarily dying the skin in patterns. I usually have various body parts done all the time. Right now my hands and feet are done. So maybe she could have her hands done in a pattern that features a triskalion thingy (spelled wrong, I know. ) The patterns are lovely and subtle, and unusual enough to attract attention and discreet enough that symbol wise it would probably get the attention you are looking for. The patterns fade in a few days to a few weeks. The website following has lots of good information in general as well as a list of practisioners around the us.

One time I saw in a jewerly shop a small chain with a padlock on it. That could be worn around the neck or even the belly.

A collar would be the easiest and most subtle way. There are many different types of "choker type" necklaces that can be used. I had a collar custom made for my slave. We went to a small jewelry shop that makes stuff to your design. You can look in jewlery stores to find some. Or if you have a mall around you and they have a Hot Topics store in it. If nothing else, you can always pick something up at the Flea. We will be going to the upcoming Flea ourselves. Perhaps if anyone else is we can all meet up someplace.

What are the rules for the fair, this time?

When we attended in January, there seemed to be none. He was dressed in casual wear with his collar on and I was dressed in somewhat provacative clothing. However, there were people there who were pretty extreme in their BDSM display. To some degree it looked like a masquerade.

However, back to your question. A collar is often enough for the BDSM folks to get the message and is only a little bit off putting to others.

:)

Have fun!

(Wish we were going, but we may see you in January. :))
