Malaika Tamu Griffin was considered a studious loner when she attended Jackson State University in Mississippi. She was also quiet and aloof.
Classmates invited her to numerous parties, she declined because she preferred museums and books. Griffin would graduate magna cum laude from Jackson State University with a BS in chemistry.
Former employees revealed, Griffin had an excellent work history and always arrived early for work.
Griffin was also an avid outdoorswoman and survivalist, she could survive in the harshest outdoor climates and she carries a backpack wherever she goes. She also buys top of the line camping gear and firearms.
Griffin has traveled extensively abroad in European countries. She is also proficient with guns and has studied books on explosives and terrorist techniques, including: “The Anarchist’s Cookbook,” “Home Workshop Silencers” and “The Poor Man’s James Bond.”
In 1999, Griffin moved to Colorado. She became enraged when a white couple moved next door. She had an intense hatred for whites. After several 'racially motivated' altercations with her neighbors, Griffin shot Jason Horsely in the back at point-blank range with a laser-sighted 9mm pistol. He died from a heart wound. Griffin went on the run.
Police searched Griffin’s house and found a 9mm assault rifle, a cache of ammunition and diffused hand grenades along with books on terrorist tactics and bomb making. Griffin's diary detailed a coming race war.
While on the run, Griffin carjacked a driver at gunpoint. She drove to Iowa and boarded a bus to Chicago. She hasn’t been seen since, disappeared in thin air, without a trace. No sightings of Griffin have ever been reported.
Police questioned Griffin's friends and family, they were quoted as saying, she never expressed her racial hatred with them. She kept it well hidden and never discussed it with anyone.
Griffin has been described as having two distinct personalities, one personality displayed brilliance and the other personality would go into an unprovoked rage in regard to white people and no one had any idea that she collected terrorist literature and weapons.
Griffin was charged with first-degree murder in the death of Jason Horsely and her bond was set at $1 million dollars.
With the exception of “America’s Most Wanted,” there was a media blackout regarding this story. This story never received national exposure.
It’s always been speculated but never proven: Griffin is being harbored by a terrorist cell because of her bomb making skills.
