"If" - many/most of us might agree on this "overly simple generality"………….

That - "most men" tend to have a bit stronger libidos' than do "most women."

(Now yes guys and girls - we can nit-pick that statement - but again, it's an "overly simple generalization" - all day long.

But for the sake of my curiosity and setting this curiosity up - pretend to agree okay.)

Okay. Then - who are the women who that prove thought differently? (And hey - where can men find them?) Just how strong is this type of woman's libido - even more than most men? Is it a clit-thing? Not unlike a dick-thing for men. Does the ease of orgasm drive a high female libido? Or is it more of a mental thing? Is there simply a deep seeded need for "fucking the brains out of a man," thing? Is it the taste of cum - addicted? All of the above? Why? Why do "women with a masculine like sex drive exist - aside from the relative female norm? What make these women - you ladies - so apparently special and horney?

(You know - most women would never, ever have cyber sex or phone sex - just not there for them - why you?)

So of course - I figure that many of you women, present here "on this board" are "exceptions" rather than the rule - in regarding this. No? I would also expect you/them to be a bit jaded, "on the side of female high libido." Preferring not to think of yourself/themselves as that much different that most other females. However - unless you (ladies) can assure me otherwise - I tend to think that most other women do not even remotely think of sex as much as I do - or the average male does. Or you do.

I know, I think of sex constantly - literally every few seconds. I eat, drink and sleep sex. And I know many, many men who think the same way. I know there are women who think this way as well but I find them to be a very, very rare occurrence. I think many/most of you ladies here represent that exception.

So - can you ladies tell - when meeting one another - if you've got "the drive, the spark, the libido?" Or do you just pass each other like ships in the night?

Maybe I am an exception to the rule but I think about sex all the time.

Would have it two or three times a day if I could but that is where my honey and I are incompatible, he is happy with once or twice a month.

I am horney all the time, is it a clit thing, maybe? I don't know but I like it.

I do not know why all women are not like me, too bad for them. As for finding us, you can find me in Atlanta but so far my honey doesn't let us play with others.

my increasing sex drive began as I grew older. I didn't necessarily think about sex or want sex all the time until I was around 28.. then everything had a sexual connotation, and still does. Sparky I would contend that women are actualy "worse", for lack of a better term, than men.

I have been around groups of women that seem to have an almost total fixation on the subject and the act.

I agree with Expertise. Many women are worse than men
and unstoppable in groups. I have heard my female friends make comments about men and sex that have stopped men in their tracks.

Ok Sparky thanks for the added dimension to my grocery shopping tonight!!! I went into the store with items for my Thanksgiving dinner on my mind and once I hit the fruits and veggies I ran into (literally) a total babe of a guy.

I don't feel like looking up all the information, but the difference between male and female libidos (in general) is due to hormones. Females with higher than normal levels of testosterone (yes, we do have it) have a greater sex drive.

I think that any conclusions made from this bulletin board might be skewed, Sparky, because the women that come to a sex site are going to be more attuned to their own sexual needs.

Women and men are different. Oh Gawd, Muff finally figured THAT one out???

Libido is also controlled psychologically. Women and men are "trained" by their parents and society in vastly different ways about sex. If a teenaged boy told his dad he'd seen a naked woman, Dad would be inclined to say "that's my boy." If a teenaged girl told her dad she'd seen a naked man, Dad would be getting out the shotgun.

It has been noted in several studies that women are taught to supress their sexuality, that sex is bad and you shouldn't do it with anyone but your lawful husband, in the bedroom. 50 years ago the stipulation that women shouldn't enjoy sex were also there. We were taught that sex hurt, and wasn't supposed to feel good, and if it did, we were bad, loose women.

Women have the same or similar sex drive as men, perhaps even stronger, but psychologically, men have the stronger one. To them, it's perfectly okay to go out and have sex with the entire Dallas Cowboy cheerleading squad. You're some sort of stud for that. I've had few lovers...

None of them had a much of a sex drive at all until my current lover...

Now, our story - I must agree with a point from the Killermuffin reply, the libido of American women in general has been suppressed by our culture/society. Now for me, this is not to say that it is okay for her to go out and have sex with all of the Greenbay Packers, nor do I feel it would be okay for me and the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders to have a sex-a-thon.(Although both would most likely be fun)

The challenge Sparky, is to find someone with whom you are compatible and begin, on a personal level to tear down the inhibitions that may exist. It is not necessarily easy, it requires trust and understanding and devotion from both parties and is a constant, unending quest.

I encourage Mrs.South to be open and honest with me in sexual matters by being open and honest with her in these matters. We discuss likes and dislikes, fantasies and desires. The net result is a relationship that I think has overcome many, many cultural/social inhibitions.
