There is a woman's ice hockey league. One team has a player who is biologically female who decided that she was male. He changed his name and he is referred to with masculine pronouns. I think if you decide you're male, you can't play on a women's team. How is it OK for him to share a locker room with women? Would a team mate or opponent be justified is opposing his participation? It is confusing to me.

I saw the other day a male transgender won a women's wrestling championship.

Had this happen at work, female coworker decided to become a guy. Where I work, there are locker rooms as we have to wear scrubs to manufacture pharmaceuticals. Needless to say it caused some concern, especially since "he" still looked and sounded like a girl. New name, same person, but pretty weird stuff! Still don't know how they could change an "innie" to an "outie", not that I'll ever need that kind of information

I read not too long ago that the league is collapsing, but what a wonderful ruse to be able to legally use performance enhancing drugs. If I were a male athlete, I'd self-identify as a horse...

:D

Damn, I wonder what the dosage would be to bring a guy up to standard.:D

I was only tangentially aware of this league. I half paid attention when I first heard the story and I couldn't make sense of it. It's not an issue with the person's sexual identification. It's just that you have to commit. Men can't play in a woman's league. If you're going to reject your biology, you have to accept all the consequences of that decision. He retired from the league, and now he is going to complete the transition, whatever that means.

My colt is offended that fillies are given a 5 pound allowance and wish to identify as a filly and to run in the Oaks rather than the Derby (btw, my horses think more like, run-in-shed than run in the derby).

"Retired?"

Everyone had to take a pay cut on the teams that didn't fold, so he might have just decided that taking a pounding for chump change wasn't worth it, now hes shooting for a new sort of pounding...

Maybe they're tired of being chased by the Beagles...

;) ;)

I think it's clear from your posting history that you already identify with one aspect of a horse. :D

I think it takes an incredibly small man who enters a thread just for taking a cheap shot at someone else. And like most Liberals, you think that that is some pretty good comedy.
