The wife is having menopause issues...vaginal dryness and loss of libido and sensitivity and she's not happy about it. I'm not too crazy about it either. She's interested in trying a female arousal gel product that supposedly increases blood flow to the clit area therefore increasing sensitivity which in turn increases arousal which in turn will increase her natural lubrication process.

I happily volunteered to search the web and find the best possible gel for her. There are literally thousands of different products on the market. All of them seem to get as many good reviews as they do bad. There's some that are all natural, there's some that seem to be all chemical. Some use peppermint, some use menthol, some use niacin...I'm so confused.

I'm asking the members of Literotica for recommendations and or real life experiences with this stuff.

Someone more than likely knows more about this than I do, but I do know there is a persription gel that does exactly what you are looking for, see your Wife's OB/GYN

Do a web search for atrophic vaginitis, and pour yourself a cup of coffee.

This is a serious topic, deserving of serious discussion. If you can't help yourself, and just have to crack wise, the GB awaits.

Thank you for the info and for your note above. I posted this on the GB board originally...got mostly smart-ass comments

Vaginal dryness

With all due respect, her doctor is the best to offer advice. The experiences of others with similar symptoms doesn't tell you what the root problem is. The internet is great for research on medical issues but not necessarily the solutions.
Could be she needs HRT or some kind of vaginal cream.

This forum cannot provide the answer you're looking for.
