While I haven't exhausted the list yet, I have read a lot of women's fiction here on Lit. Some of it was very romantic, enough to make my eyes leak and make me cheer the endings. Some was, for me, strange and grotesque, but other than the difference in emotional attachment, not much different that men's writing.

I wouldn't say that I have reached any conclusions, nor have I finished my research.

I do need to finish up emaps Longwood series. Now that I have finished the first chapter I have too much time invested to not continue my 'research', besides I like raunchy westerns.

One of the comments I've gotten was that the reader can 'see' the story due to the way described the facial clues and such. I tried to find the comment so I could quote it, but alas, it's buried.

That one comment makes me think I should look at what I'm doing right and amplify that rather than worry about what I'm doing wrong.

I do need to read some more Lesbian stories, although I don't write for Lesbians and will probably get blasted for mine, I have a 'sub-plot' that should work out.

I went back to your Submissions page and found you have two more novels of it! I'll pass them for now, the dialect and little attribution in the dialog made it hard to read and understand who's talking.

A good story in there, fast paced and action filled. The sex was wham, bam in description despite Janet seeing stars several times, two or three paragraphs is not erotic, just descriptive.

On Longwood, the saying was in character, but it would have been better with more attributions, Janet said, Sheriff said, ect. It broke my rhythm having the figure out who was saying what, but I may have been distracted too.
